@KMP a positive is a positively lovely. Enjoy it! So happy to hear all the recent success stories on here while Myself and the others have been waiting for our SA donors to arrive in Brisbane in April. It's so heartening to see others who have gone through major struggles come to peace with the donor journey and come out the end of it mamas.

AFM I've had to choose another donor short notice as my
Donor has fallen ill. What does everyone think of a first time egg donor with an AMH of 1.69 Ng/ml (this is SA measurement). She's turning 22 this year, slim, fit and healthy. Hopefully she has healthy enough and plentiful enough eggs to overcome our Male factor issues of high FISH levels. Any ideas anyone?? Xo mamakes

    Default Transport around sa

Hi guys! Hoping to join in! Am off to SA next week 22nd? Any chance any other lovely ladies travelling around the same time? My major concern is transport around as I'm going by myself! Anyone have any recommendations re: best transfer companies, taxi drivers etc!

Mamakes AMH tells you nothing about quality.

Young and slim is what matters.

staceyma use Uber (set up your account) or just get a normal taxi which will also be cheap but a little more expensive.

Best wishes for everyone cycling soon.

@staceyma we are flying out in 2 weeks (1st April) so you will probably be gone by then but happy to catch up if you still there? This is our 2nd trip. We have our beautiful 10 month old daughter from our first trip who we are taking with us. We do have a reasonably priced reliable driver we use in Cape Town & can give you details if you like? We used him last time & have booked him again for this trip. I can PM you if interested. Best of luck!!

Thanks KMP. Hearing that helps. I've just been so emotional trying to decide last minute what to do, which way to go, and I realise in fact I have to take all emotion out of it and think of the decision a little more practically. The proposed donor hopefully has healthy eggs, and that is what we need to make a healthy embryo to stick and grow and be born.

    Hi Stacey
I travelled by Myself in November. I had already been two times that year so I knew my way around which helped but as a single travelling female I would say to try not to do much travel at night. Having a contact like the driver Luca used would be a good idea. I never felt unsafe but I made sure I was aware of my surroundings especially at night and in the city. My husband and I didn't like the city at night. Also I stayed close to the v and a so didn't have to walk far for shopping coffee or food. Some of our taxi drivers were great, some were a little crazy! . Good luck xx
