"@Tahli oh my goodness only 11 days!! Goodluck i hope it all goes smoothly. You deserve it! Xx"

Ta so much @ECM1981! I have my second lining scan on Thursday and intralipids. Even though Dr M suggested 400mls I can only get 200mls through my clinic so I just have to accept that. I'm on so many meds this time round the intralipids are my only compromise.
I have everything crossed I can hold my lining steady at last Thursday's level of 7.5mm, which is the thickest measurement I've ever achieved in my 6 IVF cycles. I'm guessing the Estraderm patches helped to get it over 6mm, plus cycling for longer this time, an extra 1.5wks, which was deliberate to give the lining more time to thicken up.
Fingers crossed for Thursday's lining scan!!

Dear @Outoftime I am so sorry that your IVF journey has come to an end. The IVF road can be so cruel and unfair. Give yourselves plenty of time to grieve and heal and seek out some extra counselling if you need it. Sending you love and prayers. Take care of yourself. FFxx

@FMJ welcome to the thread and wishing you all the very best with your journey ahead. I have a vague recollection - I could be wrong - that I couldn't reserve my donor more than 3 months out from when I was going to cycle - I'm not sure whether that is across all agencies or whether it was just the donor agency I went through (Nurture). I agree with what Tahli has said re Dr M - even if you don't believe you have any immune issues it is definitely worth investigating, if only to rule them out. Good luck. FFxx

Thanks @Tahli and @Felicity Fox. I will definitely look into Dr M but wonder if there is anyone in Melb who also specialises in this area. I have contacted a few of the donor agencies and they say to come back to them anywhere between May and July so will do plenty of research before then. Also wondering if anyone has done a side trip from CT to Mauritius. My husbands family are French Mauritian so would be lovely to take our daughter there.

Thanks @Felicity Fox! I appreciate you cheering me on from the sidelines. It's got to be 4th time lucky right?!!
@FMJ Unfortunately Dr M is the only one in Australia. Dr N L at Monash comes semi close but doesn't run the full tests Dr M does. I'd love to do a side trip to Mauritius - would you like to take me?!

@Tahli wishing you all the best for your lining scan!! And yes it has to be 4th time lucky!
@FMJ i also have read somewhere about the 3month limit for reserving a donor but i started emailing all agencies in Jan for our June cycle and they were all fine with it and didnt mention not being able to reserve. You may find that the donor you like will have time to do another donation to another woman in between. Our donor did 2 donations- nov and dec, then is doing ine now with aomeone else and will be ready again to donate in june for us. Its a lot of cycles in a row but im putting that at the back of my mind and hoping she continues to produce good quality eggs like she has been doing.

4th time lucky for both of us @ECM1981!!
@FMJ A little note, my second preference ED was a uni student and could only donate during the school holidays which gave a very clear time-line that could be organised well in advance.
Also, last week I was looking at a lovely unproven donor on Nurture and unsurprisingly she was gone within a few days. I emailed her ED co-ordinator and asked to be kept in the loop as to how her first donation goes. If I hadn't looked this far out I wouldn't know she existed. Looking well in advance gives you the option to see how many blasts unproven donors produce on their first donations.
