congratulations on the twins cathy69. Hope you have answers soon ECM1981. Haven't got my notes in front of me so sorry for not mentioning anyone else.

Opinions please. Like an idiot I didn't book the SAA flights on the weekend as I am waiting on Cyndi to send me my treatment plan, today when I checked SAA have changed their website and the price of a flight with them for DH,DD and myself has gone from $3200 up to $4711 which makes them more expensive than qantas. It is 5 1/2 weeks until we were going to leave. Should I go with qantas at $4014 plus the added expense of two overnight stays in Brisbane with associated costs or stick with SAA and wait and see if their prices drops before then? The SAA flight times suit us better but it is now $1500 dearer or $700 dearer than Qantas.

Hi bb4me someone a while ago mentioned something about the laptop saving your history on the flight searches and so the next time you go in the price is bumped up. Possibky something to do with the "cookies" thing that computers have. Im sorry i cant give u more info because im not that tech minded. Could you ring an agent and see what the best price is that they can find? Maybe dont mention your prices until they quote you. Or possibly ring SAA direct. I think it was cathy69 who mentioned it but i think she may have her hands full with her new bubs and may not get on in time for your booking.

Hi ECM, I went to the travel agent after finding out about the price jump and they came up with the same price also so I don't think it is computer cookies.

@Gen72 is spot on known egg donors and travelling donors are the same person. Genevieve the lady who runs it is an egg donor herself who Warren (Wazza) treated and he begged her to get girls and bring them here. It is new to Australia February is the first round and then April this year. The reason for the two sites is as Gen72 said Australia well QLD has different laws and donors must be known so in saying that they only have a limited amount of ladies so far on their books who have agreed to be known. Travelling donors is for when Genevieve used to take the girls to Thailand ect as anonomous donors. I am not sure if she does this anymore though as we all know baby Gammys parents changed the way the Thai IVF and surrogacy legislation works and effectively destroyed it for everyone else 👎

image.jpgHi everyone. It's been a while since I posted as I have been busy growing my twins. I managed to get to 32 weeks but my preeclampsia was too dangerous and my twin girls (Alessia and Camille) were born on January 3rd both weighing 1.5kg. They are doing really well and are the most precious gifts ever. Thank you for this site and all the advice as hubby and I would never have gone through with South Africa! We are so blessed that our first cycle worked and if any of you have doubts about how you would feel carrying non-genetic bubs (as I did). Don't worry - I am so overwhelmed with love and happiness and they are my babies. Hopefully I can post a pic (I'm on the phone).
So hang in there - miracles do happen xx
