My first lining scan is next Monday and I'm praying I can reach that magical 6mm. I'm hoping the extra estrogen meds will make a difference, or at the very least maintain it.
Tahli, eat 1/2 an avocado with an egg (mash the avo into chunks, break the egg over it, season with s and p and cook in the microwave) for brekky each morning - my lining scan on 1st attempt (without avo) was only 8 mm, our 2nd successful attempt (with avo) was 13mm.

ECM, come on honey, keep your eyes on the prize...

Look out Gen72, my 1st BT at 10dpt was 601 and I've got twins, so you're up there. I read one bh'er had a BT of 85 with a singleton. I know the higher the number doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I'm wondering about yours, I wouldn't be surprised ...

I know the feeling - that's exactly what I said to my DP ages ago... 'if we are successful in CT would we go back very soon for a second' and I was told in no uncertain terms 'we will concentrate all our efforts on one child'
Now HE is the one happy about having twins - the irony. I think I would have felt too old to try for another anyway. I'll be 44 not long after we have these and if we had been going to go back for number 2 I would have been pushing 45 or more by the time we were ready. And DP would have been 48. I know lots of people are doing it at that age, but I just didn't want to.
You know what - if I had $10 for every time someone said to me how excellent it was that I was having twins, AND a boy/girl, AND now we don't have to try again - I'd be rich. RICH I tells ya !!
I feel like saying to them 'look at how old I am - seriously do you think we were going to try for another?'

Ditto!! @JulieMalooley I also find it funny when people ask me and or DH if twins are in the family. I feel like shouting at them hello we're old!! Do you think this is natural!! but I don't I just smile and say yes twins in family. Not a lie I have twin nephews. Of course that's thanks to my sil but whatever!!

It's a BFFP for me and DH today!!!! Hip hip hooray!!!!!!

Nervously excited with a HCG of 116 so not super high for 12dp6dt but over 100 and that's a bonus. Will repeat in 2 days and hopefully see it climb and climb...

Thanks ladies for all your positive vibes xxx I'll post a pee stick when I figure out how to!
