Hello everyone, hope u all enjoying the long weekend. I just received my blood test for FSH and LH, apparently it was quite high FSH 50 and LH 15, my GP thinks i may be menopausal. The blood test was suppose to be on the 3rd day of my cycle but I have not had my full period only little spotting here and there. Does anyone know whether I need to go on the pill? or have experienced the same? as I am wanting to do an egg donor IVF cycle.

Thanks for all the good wishes ladies!! And sorry if any of you are on more than one forum I'm posting on as I'm cutting and pasting!!

Well things didn’t go to plan, as it is a public holiday here and it’s the scientists that deliver the news and not your Dr’s rooms and they WILL NOT leave a msg they MUST speak with you…so our usual ritual of listening to the msg together didn’t happen. But hey you need to mix things up a bit from time to time. And really who wants to wait ALL day to find out that they ARE PREGNANT!!!! Was hard to sit on for the news for 3hrs until DP phoned on his smoko ☺ Damn you WA and your 2hr time difference!!

I know I’m still in shock…and DP was beside himself…there was lots of tears shed and lots of laughter in between the tears…and very few words when we could get them out!! We are both still finding it hard to get our heads around the news.

There’s still there is a long way to go, but amazingly our first BETA is 585 12dp5dt!! So all things are looking pretty good! So…seatbelts on and hold on for the tight for the ride.

Huge congrats @Gen72 you must be over the moon 😁... Would you be hoping for twins ?? 😊
Yes if we are going to catch up it should be soon as I'm running out of time fast !! Sitting here right now with bad cramps in my upper belly wondering if it's a contraction.. Will know soon I suppose lol. @Tahli not long now - you'll get your 6mm... I can feel it in my waters. Which are still intact btw.

I'm not familiar with menopause and DE cycle. But CFC will put you on the pill for timing reasons. Then you take the depot/lucrin or synarel to basically put you in menopause. So I dont see your situation would be a problem, just email cfc and ask them.
