Thanks guys! Yes very very very happy. Especially hearing moments before from FS that it might just be too early to hear a HB. I think we all shed a tear in there. My DP is over the moon- he was already grinning all the way to the appt and I told him to stop that as its too early! Ha ha. I have quite a few cysts in there but apparently that's normal. Baby measures a whole 9mm with a Hb of 130 ish. Still in utter shock. It feels like a dream. So close to going donor and here we are. Miracles happen!

@Keiko2012 So now that you've had your scan with FS, will you transition to OB? When will you have your first appointment?!

@MrsChino there's an ob I really like at my hospital but financially we just don't think we can afford to go private. That money will be used
For me to have an extra few weeks at home with Bub. It would all depend of the new parental agreements go through or not. I only get 9 weeks maternity leave from my work.

So the next option was public. And the number of scan one at 12w and one at 20w scared me. My GP then mentioned an ob at north west private that apparently doesn't charge a fee and it all runs through Medicare and private health. The only thing we will need to pay is for an epidural, anaesthetist if it's a c-sec and paediatrician fees. So I'm booked in with him (had a scan this week but rescheduled for next Tuesday). So I'll see what he's like and if he's not bad we'll go with him. Otherwise public or private at the hospital I work at. So not quite decided yet as you see 😝
But I think the ob will be fine and north west private is closer to us anyway. So much to think about now. I know nothing about actually being pregnified!

@Keiko2012 It's a tough call, hey. Especially after all the money we have spent on ivf - it doesn't grow on trees, that's for sure! 2 of my friends had bubs at NWPH last year, and both of them had very good experiences, so good luck for your appointment on Tuesday! I reckon you'll know pretty quickly if you 'click' with the ob. And I agree with not actually knowing what to do once you are pregnified! I never let myself think that far ahead either, so it's a bit like feeling your way in the dark!

Ok its decision time for me need to decide if I should test our remaining 3 embryos or do a fresh cycle and test those embryos. Actually thinking maybe test current embryos just to give myself a break for a month or so before I have to cycle again. At least gaining info from these 3 embryos will prepare is for what is ahead maybe, the results scare me to death though not sure I want to find out.
@Green lady, what would you do in our position, asking as you have already been through this nail biting procedure.
