@Keiko2012 - yep both abnormal got the call this morning. The day 6 one had one abnormality with two copies of one chromosome and the day 5 ( which I though there was more chance of being normal since it was hatching on day 5) was had several abnormalites.

Oh @Green lady how upsetting, its about time you got some good news. Where does your fs suggest you take it from here, will you do the testing again? Thoughts are with you hun must be hard to deal with that news, take some time for yourself!

I’m so sorry @Green lady what an awful blow. I know it’s a long shot, but there could still be some hope for your untested embies. We wanted to do PGD on our last three cycles but couldn’t because none of our embies were good enough to biopsy. In fact, out of over 50 eggs retrieved I have only had 2 make it to blast at all (one resulted in a bfn and the other was a day 6 blast and our only ever frosty). The two I have on board right now were an early morula and a badly fragmented 10 cell grade 2, neither of which were good enough to biopsy. I guess it just goes to show that you never know, and sometimes dodgy-looking embryos can take against the odds. I know it’s devastating though and you must be feeling so discouraged. I'm so sorry. Do you have an appointment with your FS to talk through where to from here?

That's definitely an inspiring story @MrsChino and gives us all hope, great how it all worked out for you hun, you definitely deserved it.

Can I ask how much I would expect to pay for the pgd testing? I have lots of new hope for this cycle but always like to be one step ahead preparing for what is to come.

@Green lady - no!!! This isn't fair. I hope you can see your specialist soon and get a plan. How heartbreaking- for all that effort and expense. That's the tough thing about this gig. im so sorry. In retrospect I wish we did PGD as it cuts out 12 weeks of stress plus it saves a transfer that would not have a good outcome.
@Keiko2012 - best wishes for tomorrow. Update as soon as you are eating those lovely sandwiches in recovery please!!!
@Heyside - maybe your bleeding might come and go a little bit for a while? So frustrating to not know what's happening. I went with one of the docs you suggested (the one who delivered your daughter from memory!) and he's fantastic. Was he your old FS too? I can't remember. I have my first antenatal class this evening.

Funny you should say that @ducky just had more bleeding whilst doing school pick up (talk about timing) just got home asap as wasn't prepared. Dont think it will stick around long but slightly reasuring there was more to come lol! So Happy you like him as an ob, he is so calm and reasuring, really hope I get to join you back there soon (if he will have me), yes he was my fs too. Good luck with the antenatal class.
