My FS only ever had me on 2 crinone a day & 3 x oral tablets. As he is a 90 minute drive away, when I had my first bleed, I saw the OB I had chosen. He is the one who has kept testing my levels & increased my dose accordingly. He said that as I did a frozen transfer with no ovulation, I had no Corpus Luteum producing my own progesterone & obviously my placenta didn't kick in with production as it should have. I'm still on pessaries & I'm 26 weeks. We were thinking id be off it about about 16 weeks, but my levels are still a bit low.

@Precious40, I'd be interested to know what your FS is saying about all of this.

Also, can you remind an old woman with a brain like a sieve, how far along you would be now?

Thinking of you hon, it's a hard slog and I think you just need a definitive answer so you can move on, rather than hanging in limbo.

That's a lot. I've only been on 1 crinone a day. That's it. I'm definitely increasing the dose no matter what they say. How ridiculous!!

There is no such thing as too much progesterone😊

Thanks to Wazza & his pharmacy of pills my first P4 level at 16dpo was 591!!😁

Anyhoo...many FS will do the run of the mill 2xCrinone sticks a day, others only 1 & some may use pessaries instead or a combination of both.

Then you get the Dr M's & Wazza's out there who will put you on a high level of support after transfer with pills, pessaries, Pregnyl shots, tablets etc.

As @Chiefsgirl said...FS o/seas seem to favour using a combo of PIO injections & pessaries more than here in Aus.

At least 2 Crinone a day Luv. If you had enough...you could do 3.

Thanks @Bib I've just spoken to the nurse who said on my last fet my progesterone level was 3 times the level required so there's no issue on that end. It's the beginning of my cycle that's the issue. This time I'll be using pregnyl instead of pessaries or crinone for prog support. Also they've said to hold off on the progynova until my scan tomorrow. I don't know why they think some miracle will occur with my lining. It never does but I think they're concerned the progynova will grow the follicle to quickly??. But may also have orgalutran on Friday to hold off ovulation to help brig the lining up. So it's all happening!!
