@Precious40 - don't give up hope yet. If it were me I'd keep taking the pessaries. Pity you can't sleep til blood test Sat. We all know what this situation and waiting is like. I don't have any tips, it's s***.

Precious, I agree with the others, keep taking your meds. could it be 'breakthrough bleeding' like others have had. for you. hope you get some rest tonight. maybe take the day off tomorrow if you're feeling stressed?

@Charlie74, obviously we are all different, but Wazza puts me on both. 1 x Oripro (200mg) on night of EPU, then 3 by Oripro for 4 days (approx every 8 hours), and then from day of ET 2 x Crinone (90mg; AM and lunch) plus 1 x Oripro at bedtime - on day of ET I do first Crinone after ET. You have to lie down for 30 minutes after Oripro and make sure you use the applicators to get it close to the cervix (nurse suggested that if you have to get up, use a tampon for the Oripro to keep pessary near cervix). TMI, but if I need to clean out Crinone I do that in my evening shower and I find the Oripro soothing. Overall I find the Oripro causes less irritation and build up, but you get oily residue, so need liner.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thinking of you @Precious40. If you want to eat and sleep then I'd just do that as much as possible until Saturday. I find protein drinks helpful if I cannot be bothered eating. I'd also keep up your meds until you know. I cannot imagine what you and DH are going through, but am thinking of you and sending prayers your way.

I've been on both. The crinone is less messy when inserted, but does cause a build up you can clean in the shower. I'm still on the Oripro pessaries, you do need to lay down for about 20 minutes after inserting, but apart from a little oily residue, I think I prefer them. I just wear a liner all the time. My progesterone has been quite low all pregnancy so ironically was on 2 crinone & 3 Oripro a day (plus injections twice a week!)

@Precious40 another evening down and one step closer to some more concrete answers here's hoping. I can't even imagine how difficult this must be for you and your dh. It's just shiz.

What a stressful week you've had! Hope you are ok this morning. Keep up with the Meds, may make all the difference. Brown is ok. And I had 2 bright red bleeds early on (4 & 8 weeks) and am still going strong. Thinking of you lovely xx

Ladies I've always either had 400mg pessaries or crinone. I feel like it wasn't enough maybe but how can I find out if it wasn't so I can ask my nurse whether to increase the dose? Is it a blood test and when? I am reading that wazza and dr m use a lot more than standard so I feel I've been duped.

I read somewhere that there is no such thing as "too much" progesterone so you could ask if you could take more just in case? I'm on a lot - 200mg 4 times a day vaginally and 2x200mg orally at night - so you could certainly increase if your doctor was ok with it. Maybe the smaller doses more regularly might be an option too, not sure if that helps absorption?
