@Green lady I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed but the others still have a chance to grow as well. You just never know 🍀

There's still a good chance for a few to make to testing. And the fact that you've got so many still going on day 5 is great! We never did the testing, money for one thing & not many eggs also. But last round we got 4 to the freezer. Have had 2 BFPs, one was a MC, but was tested afterwards and had no chromosomal issues, and am currently 26 weeks with the other, also no chromosomal issues. We still have 1 in the freezer. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that you'll still have a few to freeze & put back, tested or not. And sometimes perfect eggs don't work either. I think you've got to have a lucky one amongst the bunch, whether it's one you get to test or not ❤️

@Charlie74 - I understand that. At each step there's another hurdle and something else to worry about. But as you say the best you can do is cover all bases and out yourself in the best position for potential success. My FS tells me not to think ahead and just do one stage at a time. I know he's right that that helps mentally but I don't think that's the nature of most women! I think perhaps men can compartmentalise better.

@greenlady I think everyone has said most things I was thinking, and over the past year I've also has lots of thoughts about giving up. It's taxing to say the least and mega stressful. My problem is I don't expect it to work anymore for me, although I still hold on to a sliver of hope obviously as otherwise I guess I wouldn't bother. The fact that you get so many is an advantage and as the other girls have said, I'd be transferring untested if they are good to freeze, you just never know. There's enough stories to say that anything can happen, they just don't know enough about picking an embryo that's gonna work which for us means tested or untested it might just be the lucky one. Try and keep calm and hopeful and not getting ahead of things is good advice otherwise anything can seem impossible.

Now that we are open to DE I feel it's taken the pressure off me a lot. I guess that bar just keeps being set further out as time goes on in this hell hole of a situation. The end point has moved and looks different than it once did.

I hope tomorrow brings good news xx
@Corbes I don't think I knew you were UTD ! Congrats and great to hear things are going well

The clinic just called me at 3.30pm - they have been able to biopsy one blast this afternoon! So I have one at least! Might get some sleep tonight.
