Good morning to all the lovely ladies.
Is your bt today @Precious40. This waiting is so hard im thinking of you.

Welcome to the two new ladies. This is a lovely group of warm hugs and support. Can anyone tell me what wazza's waiting list is like these days? I wont have even close to enough money til after april/may. Just to see what he says about my chances of doing oe? Or de? So was thinking i could make appointment for then and even start on his long list of meds soon too? Or should I wait a little longer. Also should I do my first cycle at cheap clinic to reach threshold first then go off to wazza or is it better to go straight to wazza due to time and low eggs?

Thanks @Gagingi! Yes it is almost 100% better and that is in just over two weeks, when they said it could be six weeks to six months to see full restoration of my face! I've been doing tons of stuff, so I'm really happy it's paid off - no more lisp and wonky eye and mouth - looking pretty normal now - Yay!

They don't get any Medicare rebates or PBS-funded medications. I don't know if they get PHI rebates either. So a IVF costs a bomb.

Personally I think it is outrageous that we're not all treated the same by our health system as women using social IVF need IVF as much as anybody else - they just don't have access to sperm or cannot afford a baby right now for "social" reasons.
FYI My very first cycle was an egg freeze and I got the full medicare rebate and PHI rebate. At that stage it was unknown if I had any infertility issues or not. Maybe because I was 40 they just listed me as 'fertility issues' and that's why I got it then ?
