@Precious40, good luck with your BT today love. I'll be out of town but will pop in as soon as I get in this evening. I'll be thinking of you @Tahli, perhaps if you're around you might be able to send me a quick sms update?!
@greenlady, I will be thinking of you today too love. I am crossing everything I have for some great fertilisation rates for you
Also, my apologies to you all regarding my AF CD1 comments. I really didn't mean to insinuate that anyone was doing their timing wrong. My thoughts were more along the lines of "I wonder why I'm being told to do it differently to everyone else?"
Perhaps it is because my AF is barely detectable these days. CD1 is the same as CD5, as is every day in between. I basically get a bit of brown 'muck' when I wipe and that's it. My days of needing a super tampon AND a super pad are well and truly behind me. I must say, I don't get where everything is going. I mean, apparently my lining thickens up quite nicely, so when I get to TTOTM - well, where the hell is it going?!@
OK, off to collect my new glasses from town. Looking forward to being able to see properly again as my current specs are all scratched
Hon, I think everyone one here could related to those exact same feelings. I know the day my youngest sister (12 years my junior) gave birth to her first child I was thrilled for her but for me it was like "Oh my God, now everyone has a baby except me..." It was an exquisitely painful time for me, and in fact was the catalyst for DH and I to start the IVF journey.
I love my niece to pieces. She is a gorgeous little thing! But as much as every time I see her she brings me joy, she is also (sadly) a painful reminder of what I don't have myself.
So hugs to you hon, I know how much it hurts. I think, as you said, sometimes these things are just destiny. It is already set out in the cards if any of us will have a baby or not. We are all just waiting around to see what happens when the next card is dealt....
Hi love, and welcome to the group! My AF is elusive even during a good month! As I mentioned above, all I really get now is a brown smear when I wipe. This was quite surprising, as prior to starting IVF I was on the OCP purely because I wanted to be able to control my heavy periods. When I was 13 and first went on the OCP that was exactly the case, but as it turns out the OCP was the only thing that was making me even have a period in my 40's! As soon as I stopped it, AF went on holidays and never came back properly. If it weren't for the fact that I wanted to have a baby I would be overjoyed!
@Precious40 Good Luck with BT today Luv

@Tinachris I got AF on time during cycles (only time I didn't get it was on my chemical and BFP) but between cycles AF was always late. It never stopped altogether though. What drugs do they have you on for cycling? Maybe the drugs or doses are playing havoc with you between cycles.
