ahh, yes my DP doesn't stick to just 2 either. the doctors have all said he should stop drinking but to no avail. it makes him happy so he keeps doing it.

I need to cut out the coffee again. lapsed over the break, though I know we're allowed to have some anyway. back to sipping water here too

Yeah, @BlondeinBrisvegas I'm thrilled I've finally got an apt with LB. I never had any follow up apts with her after my two cycles with her, just a 5 min phone call which saw me move over to DE.
I just spoke with Monash's donor sperm coordinator to see what donors are currently on the list. I've just checked out 4 donors full profiles. This time prioritising super proven donors.
Ive also just left a message for the finance dept to find out what the 2016 prices have gone up to.
    All food for thought...

Green lady .. v good numbers! It's looking very positive. .

Precious 40 anxiously waiting for your result love

JulieMalooley u must be feeling very happy and excited to see the bubs again

Tahli Yay!! For LB'S appt soon.

    Am
We met LB today .. she said wait for your pgd results ...
When we asked her is there anything else we can do with the frozen cycle, she said she has tried everything, so I will have the same protocol for fet if we get any normals. She said even she is very frustrated that she cannot pinpoint a reason why it hasn't worked after transferring 5 blastocysts .... could be implantation or could be embryo quality even after being normal pgd ones...

When we asked her abt surrogacy, she said monash doesn't give advice abt commercial surrogacy overseas....

At the moment we are thinking of the Ukraine arrangement that I mentioned (donor egg plus surrogacy) to have a baby . And if we get any normals here from pgd, we can use it for our second baby as I m very tired of being in this for almost 10 years , had a brain surgery and have ongoing health issues....just waiting to hear back from the Australian embassy in Ukraine as I emailed them abt getting the baby back to Aus .... I know it's a very daring step but if it's gives us results , I think it's all worth it.

How are you doing Gagingi and Summer ?

Hi to all the other lovelies

The age-old question - Are we doing more harm than good....

I think about this often. Other than a multivitamin, megafol, DHEA, clexane and prednisolone I don't take any suppliments. Well, aside from the IVF drugs obviously.

Am I at an advantage or a disadvantage in doing so? Who knows. Do we have any evidence that long term use of all this stuff helps or hinders?

Sometimes I think it just comes down to dumb luck if we get pregnant or not.

    Refresh, refresh, refresh!

Oh, the wait is so hard hon, I know. Been there, done that. The fact AF hasn't shown her ugly head is a positive sign.

    Positive, positive, positive

Hoping for exciting news today. We need a good sprinkling of baby dust

@Blossom I've definitely considered doing one DE cycle completely off all drugs except folic acid...and what is absolutely essential for a DE FET. When I fell pregnant with my son I wasn't on anything, not even folic acid. My CFC FS doesn't think I should be on all the other stuff either but then again he doesn't believe in immune issues.
@Precious40 I hope you're feeling all zen after your time at the beach.

yep this is my theory too. but i get that people reach their threshold of trying and trying and will give anything a shot to make it work.
@Precious40 sound like you're pretty calm, good for you.

It fascinates me how many FS's don't believe in these immune issues. You can't tell me that after 10 of my own, 5 from first donor and then 2 'fantastic' embies from second donor failing, then suddenly 2 'ok' embies stick on the one go on the ONLY cycle that I took the prednisone/clexane/aspirin/intralipids for - that these drugs didn't help me.
Ok, I had high anti nuclear antibodies (which aren't supposed to cause a problem) and don't know if I had NK cells (which supposedly don't exist) so the drugs shouldn't have made a difference. My GP, FS, old IVF clinic and FS at CFC all said these two things would not cause issues. Yet look where I find myself now.

    In my opinion either:
    a. High ANA DO cause issues with implantation OR
    b. NK cells DO exist.

One or the other, or even both, who knows. I absolutely believe 100% that I would not be UTD now if not for those extra drugs. I'm suss on the ANA being the issue rather than NK cells, but who knows.

Maybe the prednisone, being a steroid, gave the little embies extra get-up-and-go too. If I knew the answer I'd be a gazillionaire !!
