Great reminder @tuxcat. I'm sooo looking forward to your scan tomorrow @Bongley. What time are you having it? How are you feeling?
@Chiefsgirl I hope you and bubs are ok? @Caesardust Have you jumped onto youtube to check out Pregnyl mixing videos?
Thanks gals, my scan is at 1030 tomorrow. I'm feeling confident but you know there is always that risk. I have had no bleeding or spotting whatsoever (unlike my first BFP) and I've just been feeling pregnant but that's probably due to having a fat belly from the christmas food hangover and prednisone (still no morning sickness, yay!) and I have felt absolutely dog tired. Ack, I'll take blissful ignorance where I can, when I can. Hopefully no horrible surprises tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

    *deep breath*

@Blossom74 You're so lucky you have runny blood for tests!
@Caesardust Pregnyl to increase your lining hey? Daily injection after the trigger? I might ask LB about that tomorrow!
@Tahli I'm not sure when I start doing the pregnyl. They have only told me to do the puregon til Tuesday when I have my first scan. Then I think I'll do the pregnyl shots and then a trigger. Not entirely sure. I'm also going to use the sandrena gel I have left over from the lovely @JulieMalooley to also try and bump up my lining. They also said they would give me progynova if need be too. I'm finally feeling like my clinic wants this to work!

Good luck @Bongley I'm sure the scan will go absolutely fine - but is a very stressful event. I bet you'll be glad to have it over with. Then you can let that big breath out

    How much is high dose?
    I take 1.0g omega 3 (EPA/DHA) x 2 per day
Do I need more than this?

One birth story and baby photos, and one pregnancy announcement in my inbox today - isn't it just the worst? Happy for them, but so damn envious it isn't funny

Regarding adoption, it does look really difficult in Australia, especially with the foster leading to adoption program. I couldn't imagine getting attached to a child and then having them taken away and given back to their biological parents. *Shudder*

I spoke more today with my friend who did the international adoption in the Philippines and it was really good to get more info. She said any child 7 or over, and siblings, are placed in the special needs category and their adoptions are fast tracked. Which is how she ended up with her little boy within a year from applying. I spoke to DH tonight (I told him I didn't want to talk IVF or DE until with the counselor) but I wanted to talk about adoption and we are both of the same mind that adopting an older child (likely children as we would take siblings) is a definite for us - whether we have our own child or not. So I'm really excited about that path opening up for us. The age of the child depends on the youngest parent, and there is to be no more than a 45 year gap. So at 46 years old we can adopt a 1 year old, at 47 years old a 2 year old etc.

We won't be able to start that process until we finalise OE or DE, so it's a little way off, but just knowing that it is possible to have my rainbow family is making my heart sing today! Well, singing around the baby announcements that is!

The therapeutic dose of fish oil is 6g per day for anti-inflammatory purposes, not sure if there is any other advice though to mimic intralipids?
