If I've read your post correctly @MissDa you went to EPU? If you went that far, then yes, what you've been charged is correct by my clinics rules.
I only pay $500 OOP if I cancel the cycle before EPU. Once I go to EPU, and they may find no eggs in my two follicles for example, then I'd be charged over $5000 OOP.
It's a big costly decision to go to EPU for some of us.

@Precious40 I'm really glad you've popped in tonight.
I'm the same as @midnite01...Clexane, Pred, baby aspirin, Progy etc from CD1. Oh and an Intralipid treatment about a week before the actual transfer.

@Caesardust I've taken Pregnyl as a trigger and booster in TWT. It's easy once you know how. The first time I triggered with it I was 10-15 minutes late as I crushed the glass into the saline (as I take a double dose I had a spare saline, so could still proceed. I'm not sure what I'd have done otherwise).

It comes in glass ampules (bottles) and you mix saline and powder. If you haven't used them before, it might be a good idea to get the nurse to take you through snapping the top off them (I use a rubber grip cloth). There is a weak/narrow point in the neck of the bottle marked with a black dot (ignore the white line). My pharmacy also doesn't give me syringes/needles with it - those are given to me by FS - I suspect to stop patients triggering without FS's approval, so I'd make sure you have syringes etc when you need them.

At my last ET Wazza put a dose into my uterus 4 minutes before ET. Not sure what this does, but something he apparently regularly does.

I've found that when I've had slight OHSS it has stirred things up a bit, if that is an issue? Otherwise no issues with actually taking drug.

I need to drink a litre of water an hour before blood tests to make the blood run faster. I keep forgetting that tip!
@midnite01 I didn't have to pay anything for my tests today. I asked the lady to check twice and she seemed to be sure it was all bulk billed. I wonder if I'll receive a Melb Path invoice in the mail in a months time?! Surprisingly she only took 3 vials of blood. I thought it would be alot more.
No scar tissue @Tahli but have definitely still got sensitive spots where the gestone sites are on both sides of my butt. The nurses administering should be able to give advice on how to help disperse/relieve it?

Me too. @Precious40 why not try the high dose fish oil if you can't get intralipids. It can't hurt.
