@Caesardust and @Charlie74 - could the sugar coating stir up thrush?

For lining Wazza would say lots of rooties, but I cannot remember if your men have had the snip... Then I think we wondered if spermless semen may still has some benefits for lining. I think there is some suggestion it does help.

I don't have lining issues - it's not awesome, but okay and am usually on 8 Progynova and 8 Ralovera.

I've read online that some FS in the uk suggest taking it both orally and vaginally and they confirm its the same tablet. I am prescribed 6. Yesterday I took 8. should I just take 10 orally today? I feel panicked and not sure what to do. I can't speak to anyone today anyway and scan is tomorrow.

@Precious40 oh no lovely, what a load of sh!t, honestly you're past 6 weeks, so there should be an embryo there. How ridiculous, no wonder you've had it. Whats the plan past wednesday? If the numbers keep rising is he just going to keep watching and waiting? I really feel for you xxx
@Summer I hope the counselling went well and you guys got to sort some things out and are now in a better place to move on with things?

Well Ive finally put our ad out on the donor site so now its wait and see I guess. Its a little bit daunting seeing how many people are also advertising, and you think wow how will we ever get chosen by someone. But anyway we have time so theres no rush. Next step will be to go to some of the meet ups.

hope everyone has a nice day off

good luck to those starting cycles xx
    welcome newbies

sorry. Just so over it all

Far out @Precious40. Have you ever heard the term "Paralysis by analysis?" It's like your FS is too sh!t-scared to make a decision in any direction. Personally I think his treatment of you falls under the banner of misconduct/neglect. It is not right to make you suffer for so long with this.

Did he say what was happening on Wednesday? Honestly, if Wednesday's plan is to "See what happens Saturday" I'd be tearing him a new a$$hole. And I'd insist on an ultrasound on the grounds of ectopic concerns.

I'm sorry. I'm just so bloody frustrated and upset on your behalf. At the VERY LEAST, post 6 weeks gestation in a normal healthy pregnancy would show up as a sac with a fetal pole. There's not a lot of wriggle room with IVF to get your dates wrong. Some people see heartbeats at that stage! Even I, with my MMC, had a visible sac at 6 weeks.

Honestly, it really worries me that not only is your Doctor neglecting your pain and distress, but also that he's not willing to do a damn thing about it, when the technology is there and is available to you. IF (and I'm not going to push one way or the other here, but IF) the pregnancy is non-viable, the sooner you get onto stopping the drugs and letting everything pass, the better. Why head down the D&C route if it can be avoided?

I'm so sorry hon, I really am. If it's any consolation I reckon every lady on this thread is backing you, and thinking WTF about your FS....

    A million hugs

    Blossom

@Blossom74 thats crazy about your clinic. If you dont ask the questions you dont get the right answer! And they say these forums are most unhelpful! How much info do we get from each other in here.. Keep them in their place!!
@Bongley how are you travelling? Hows the symptoms going? And have you told your son that hes got a little brother cooking away on mums oven? I bet he'll be excited.

    happy invasion day everyone!

Sigh, no I didn't read that I guess it push comes to shove and I do ovulate (A) I can feel free to hit the roof and (B) I can try again the following month at no charge. As long as any eggs created are not my last, I will be ok....

I agree with @Blossom74 My 3 pregnancies one scan was 7wks (mc) then another preg a scan was 6 weeks & that was a heartbeat. My FS at the time even scanned at 5+weeks. (mc). There is a lady on another thread I am on and it was slightly similar for her & the scan proved it to be eptooic. If that is even in the scope here @Precious40 then it would be risky to leave it to say the least. Sorry to mention and I know you are under enough pressure you don't need it here. I cant believe he is basing the scan decision on your level and not by time. A scan could bring good news and relief. Either way a scan would provide an answer. Im a bit pushy, so I get we are all different. If you are happy with the treatment, then who am I to question that. I feel for you, thats all..x

@Precious40 - why wouldn't he just do the scan??? It just doesn't make sense. I had a scan a 6 weeks in my last pregnancy and no one had measured my HCG level at that point. It was a viability scan and it showed no viability as there was no foetal pole etc etc. Even then it dragged on for another 2 weeks and I didn't think anyone paid enough attention to the mental torture aspect of it. I hope that next appointment you can get some action to give you some answers.

@JulieMalooley I am not on the other thread so can't reply there. I have only put on 4kg so far so not much to show really. I have a small bump that is probably in the category of: "She's had too much Christmas pudding" rather than 19 weeks pregnant. I had my hair cut yesterday (have had same hairdresser for years). My hairdresser didn't notice I was pregnant. All of my clothes still fit too... except for some t-shirts that are too tight for my boobs!
