With my last pregnancy I had a bleed around 6 weeks and 9ish weeks
He is nearly 10 months now :-)
Bleeding in pregnancy is very common and doesn't always mean the worst outcome, just rest up and take it easy and hope you hear back from your ob soon

With my first I bled at 6 weeks, he's now 5.

With this one I bled at around 7 weeks, I'm currently 29 weeks. Some people just bleed unfortunately and it really sucks x

Thank you so much for your reassurance ladies! Im choosing to remain positive as there's nothing I can do about it either way. This is my first pregnancy so still learning what to expect ☺

I had bleeding at the same time in my first pregnancy. My little one is 18 months now. I bled a few times with him, mainly after going to the loo or sex. Very scary when it's your first.
Saying that I have just had a miscarriage too, but the bleeding was very different.
Positive thoughts are def the way to go, I hope it all turns out well for you xx

Im another one who bled throughout pregnancy. I was a nervous wreck through the pregnancy but ds was quite happy and came into the world perfectly.
Rest up and try to relax...easier said than done I know.

When is your next scan? Maybe you could have a haematoma which can cause bleeding. I'm nearly 11 weeks and have bled 5 to 6 times now due to a small haematoma. Baby is fine but the haematoma is causing the bleeds. I've been told these mostly reabsorb and I'm on a range of drugs from Dr Wazza including aspirin, clexane injections, cyklokapron, provera and a few others. I'm also on bed rest. Maybe it's not this, please I'm not trying to worry you but you're next scan will show what's happening. I'd go to E&R and explain the bleeding, they'll do a scan for free.

Thanks for your input. I will have a scan when I see the ob at 10w ☺ He was very reassuring when I spoke to him, he said that being only 6w we're unlikely to see much on an u/s but if it continues over the weekend we can talk about some bloods early next week, then an early scan in a week or so if we need it.

I can't remember now if it was 16 or 18 weeks I spotted and bled to. Both bright red and slightly brownish blood.
I had a scan and they could see the location of the bleed which was nowhere near anything to worry about.
My DS is nearly 16 months old and is fine.
Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy xxx

My advice is exactly that, wait a while for a scan or it can cause even more worry!
I had scans with my first pregnancy that showed nothing so I was so upset and scared I was miscarrying. I would have had 3 scans before they saw the heartbeat as I ovulated late that cycle and my dates were wrong.
I was so incredibly stressed and upset.Unless the bleeding continues, I wouldn't do anything either. If it continues lightly then bloods are a good indication if things are coming along well.
I had bloods and a scan this time but I was meant to be 7 weeks, and had a lot more bleeding. The first blood test was in the normal range but the second only rose 1000 so we knew it wasn't good.
Fingers crossed it was a one off for you and you can relax.

I had bleeding at 5w3d - 6w5d in my first pregnancy and he is now a active 4 year old.

I didn't bleed in my 3rd pregnancy and miscarried at over 9weeks...

Bleeding or not bleeding in my case didn't mean a thing in regards to he viability of the pregnancy.
