    Um...noice choice. Very unusual.
I've been sitting here madly going through brand names trying to work out the name!

    no really.
One of my male friends at uni told me he could smell when any of the women in our group had their period. I didn't feel AT ALL awkward for a few days each month after hearing that...

I get a breakthrough bleed every now and then. I work for a gynaecologist so I'm booking myself in for a hysterectomy before he retires haha.

I haven't read the responses but wings are a PITA!!!! They don't stick, they bend, dig into your inner thighs, feel uncomfortable.

I don't know why anyone would wear them WITH wings 😉

I mentioned it to a GP and she laughed at me...I'm too young! Although once she say my actual age (not what she guessed I was) she ummed and ahhed. But no referral.

    Go for it I say!

I'm 37 this year so hopefully that's old enough lol. There are girls a lot younger than me having them for medical reasons. I think my GP would be supportive, he's been talking to me about permanent sterilisation for a couple of years now.

And all of this is why I use menstrual cups now. Well, I did before I got my Mirena put in. I've had it in for 2.5 years and only get a smudge of blood on a panty liner once a month. Not even enough for my cup anymore. But if I was still getting my AF I would be using the cup. Pads and tampons are revolting.
