Hi there. I can honestly say i have never puchased pads with wings. Am i missing out? I use applicator regular size tampons and they seem to get me thru my work days even when i cant access a toilet for three hrs due to work. Wingless pad at night.

Oh dear, I hope my kids can't

DD11 has a book and she tells me that it says to change your pad every 2 hours so that it is less likely to smell. She is worried about how she will do that in school.

She hasn't got them yet, but I have had a week of questions about her period. She put a pad in water to see why she can't swim with one

I can't wear tampons, they have never fit comfortably. So it's pads all the way here. Although I'm on a strong pill due to AF problems and I skip the sugar pills every month so I rarely get AF these days. Woot.

I was wondering if anyone else uses applicator tampons? I find they fit well no hassles.

I did this too, until I couldn't. All of a sudden it stopped working. Now I can extend it by 2 weeks otherwise I get breakthrough bleeding. Stupid period, really want them to go away!

    no really.
One of my male friends at uni told me he could smell when any of the women in our group had their period. I didn't feel AT ALL awkward for a few days each month after hearing that...
