    You did not overreact at all. I would've actually gone and found his parent, to tell them what happened. In fact I did just that once when a kid punched my DS (unprovoked) in a shopping mall play thingy. If my kid did that to another kid, I'd want to know about it and we'd be out of there so fast it's not funny (just not acceptable behaviour).

    If someone, even a child, cornered my child and kicked them in the face, I'm not sure I could control my reaction. I like to think I wouldn't have touched the bully... But I can't say for sure.

    Thanks everyone you have made me feel so much better.

    I usually try to keep out of my sons tiffs, as he is quite sensitive and I'm trying not to make him to dependant on me to fight his battles but I also have a line.

    However I'm glad to hear the other mothers are probably not judging me to harshly. I'm not really the type of person to yell and make a scene IYKWIM 😆
