    Default Becoming more organised

    Hi there,

Just after some tips on becoming more organised. I'm starting a new job which is 3-4 days a week and I'm not sure how I'll manage with the kids/cooking/cleaning/shopping. Any tips?

    Thanks!

Make bit batches of healthy frozen meals to draw on when you are too tired to cook.

Make a chores list on a white board. Not sure how old your kids are but add your DH as well as yourself.

Have a home for everything. Have tubs labelled in the kids rooms. Lego, cars etc.

Get grocery delivery. It's slightly dearer but you save on petrol to get it, your time which is invaluable and you don't impulse buy.

I just make double for the normal evening meal and freeze half. Do that for a week and you will have plenty.

Hi there we both work full time and dont cook from scratch at all during the week. We put on slow cooker or wok meals as well as bolognaise etc early on the weekend then freeze. We also chop veges and salad sticks and pasta and rice so have an amazing meal on the table within minutes. I love supermarket shopping so i go early on a saturday to stock up for the week. Routine is important for us as every minute counts expecially in the evenings due to us both working and the weekend cooking literally saves hrs and hrs we simply dont have as the children need dinner as soon as we get home. I also freeze sandwiches for lunch with prechopped salad etc. All the best.
