    1. Girl From Mars - Ash
It just reminds of my besties from highschool and we're still great friends.
    2. State of Love and Trust - Pearl Jam
So hard to pick just ONE PJ song - soundtrack of my life really. Loved that man for over twenty years!
    3. The Dead Heart - Midnight Oil
Love the band, loved their message, every time I saw them live they absolutely blew me away. This is my kids fave and DH is also a huge fan so we rock out to it in the car all the time. My four year old calls it the "do do song"
    4. He ain't heavy, he's my brother - this has always been mine and my dad's special song. So, so special to me.
    5. Ship Song - Nick Cave. No words can describe my love for this song.

    This was SOOOO hard!

    Creep - Radiohead

Everlong - Foo Fighters. It is my all time favourite song and is going to be our wedding song

Cold Day In The Sun - Foo Fighters, Dave on drums, Taylor on vocals, bliss!

    Always - Blink 182

Come As You Are - Nirvana

Wish list - Pearl Jam (really I could have just about any PJ song - I 'grew up' with them as the soundtrack to my wonderful uni years)

Beds r Burning - Midnight Oil (the band that really inspired me to be an environmental engineer and make a difference to the world)

All I want is you - U2 (my wedding dance song)

How to make gravy - Paul Kelly (if I can only have 5 I need something that will double as a Christmas carol)

A thousand years - Christina Perri (too main****** for my tastes generally but sums up my 8 year ttc journey and my nightmare pregnancy and how it feels when I hold DD and think about what we went through).

Are you living my life? I love all of these. Use to listen to he ain't heavy (and other similar sings) on long car trips with my dad when I was young.

    In no particular order:

I Will Wait - Mumford and Sons. This is DSs song so it evokes amazing memories.

The Boxer - Simon and Garfunkel. Childhood favourite.

The Call - Regina Spektor. It's mine and DPs song.

Friday I'm in love - The Cure.

Hands Held High - Linkin Park.

I thought the same when I read your list! My dad was a massive musical influence in my life ( I should say is, he's still here! )
I'm having massive Paul Kelly and U2 regret and also Jeff Buckley - someone put some Jeff on their list and I'll come to your house and listen!

Oh Friday I'm in love! And Mumford - Sigh no more was my third bubs song. He was a 31 weeker and I just sang it to him over and over.
    Excellent list!
