I'm not sure. When I did breath testing the first test was lactulose which is the baseline test. Then I went back for fructose, glucose and lactose - I came back intolerant to fructose, sorbitol and mannitol but not lactose thank heavens. I had to blow into the bag, drink a drink then blow into the bag every 30mins for two or three hours depending on test and how it was going. It's certainly non invasive but my intolerance caused me to spend most of my time in the toilet literally only making it out just in time to breath into the bag the next time.
