I've been following this thread but haven't posted or written what I want because "fear of failure" and "ugh, commitment". But I've been inspired by a lot of what I've read. I'm down 2.7kgs in a little over a fortnight. Eating around 1300 calories a day and working out 3-4 times a week plus walking the dog 5km most days. My downfall is sugar. I'm not going to day "I'll lose x amount" but I'm feeling pretty positive about dropping another 2.5-3kgs. That would put me at my happy weight range.
Weighed in this morning. Down 900g this week so a grand total of 2kg. Really happy!
Thanks ladies! I'll definitely start the lemon water and I'll get my fitness pal now as well. Weighing food is definitely something I'll need to start doing! I'm feeling more positive and almost a little excited now that I have a bit of a plan. I just felt so overwhelmed this morning. We only drink water but have had a few glasses of soft drink this week with dinner - socialising is evil! If it was just us then we would have water but add guests into the mix and he calories blow up!
I'll let you guys know how I go next week. My goal is to drop at least 1kg by next Friday. Fingers crossed I can do it!
Can I join girls? I'm too embarrassed to write my actual starting weight. So I'm going to do it this way...
Current: 17.5kgs above pre baby weight.
End: 30kgs below pre baby weight
Total goal loss: 47.5kg (like a whole person)
Goal for the remainder of Jan:
Has anyone tried the 5:2 diet? What do you think?
Have done no exercise this week as have been trying to get DD into a good sleeping routine and that means missing PT and the gym. Surprisingly I've lost weight.
