Somehow I managed to lose almost 1kg in a day! I needed an extreme language warning when I hopped on the scales lol

Welcome to daily weight fluctuations. A lot is to do with how much water you're holding in your body.

I drank 2L water yesterday. And did 40 mins cardio. I just spent 30 mins this morning riding scooters with my toddler! Scootering is hard work haha

Yeps your weight will change every day as well as during the day. There's lots of factors in play, not just what you've eaten or how much exercise you've done.

You'll likely find that if stand on the scales tomorrow that the weight will have gone up a little bit again.

Not to be a debbie-downer - but in the same way you shouldn't get stressed and freak out if your weight goes up 1kg in a day, you shouldn't be overly excited about a loss of 1kg in a day.

Fingers crossed it keeps going down for you

Oh I understand 😜 I wasn't expecting to have lost any and I'm not addicted to weighing myself. I'm more interested in measurements and noticed I'd lost cms on my waist!

No exercise because I am still so sore from Sunday. On the positive side, have been eating much better and not having late night snacks. Back to exercise tomorrow.

11,688 steps so far today, doing well, I'm going to weigh myself in the morning, now that I am home from house sitting at my sisters, I've had over 10,000 steps a day every day and have been eating well/not snacking, as well as some c25k running. Fingers crossed.

Have had a couple of slips the last few days and kicking myself for being so slack. I do this every time, I go gung- ho for the first week, do really well, and then I bugger it up and undo it all.
How do you keep up the motivation for longer than a week!?
