20km bike ride today.
Breaky - juice, protein shake.
lunch - subway sandwich (made it as healthy as possible)
dinner - chicken and veg stirfry
snacks - apple and protein bar.
Haven't had as much water as I'd like so starting to chug that now!!
I've just wrapped up a three day cleanse and am down 1kg!
Today I had:
- glass of hot water with lemon juice when I woke up.
- a smoothie for breakfast.
- a herbal tea and handful of nuts for a snack.
- a wrap with tuna, hummus and baby spinach for lunch.
- chicken and quinoa salad for dinner.
So far I've clocked up 21km of my 50km challenge. I had planned to run it but I'm so unfit, walking it is 👍🏻
It's great reading everyone's progress, it's definitely keeping me motivated.
Well the other day, I can't remember which one I was 96.5 and now I am 94.9, happy with that, my first goal is 92, I like to have small goals so they feel achievable. I did 15,000 steps yesterday and that included day one of the c25k app, I've done that app before but only got half way through before I got bored.

I unofficially weighed this morning- down 1kg. Tomorrow I'll weigh in properly, it will be a week since I started am I'm hoping to break past the 1kg. Yesterday even though I stayed within my cals and put in a solid effort with my exercise, I know I ate too many carbs so I'm going to restrict that today.

I've done C25K before too and did find it a bit of a slog, do you have a fun run coming up in a couple of months you can work towards? I did a 6k run when I finished the app and was so excited to actually run the whole way. Good running music was definitely the key for me.
tomorrow I will have a weigh and measure, for the start of the year. I have been to the gym every day, and I did an extra pilates class this morning. I know I am 10 kgs lighter than this time last year, so I plan to continue downsizing. marie.

I agree calicocat. The c25k app is excellent for a beginning runner (which is what I was/am), it guides you into running, interval training style. It's a fool proof way of learning to run longer distances. I played the app whilst listening to good running music on my iPhone. The music would just cut out briefly when the app told you to begin running or begin walking. It was great.
Speaking of exercising music, does anyone have any songs that they like listening too? I'm listening to a few of Taylor Swifts songs *dont judge me!* like wildest dreams, bad blood, blank space. They have a good steady beat that you can run too. Even Justin Beiber song Sorry has a good beat *hangs head in shame*.
