And then the last day is excruciatingly slow hope you've got lots to occupy you this week.
DH just called and 7 weeks in central Queensland is confirmed. Except no date! They have said 'end of the month' which is 3 weeks away so who knows. This will be longest time away since DD was born so we are going to go up and visit him halfway through for a few days. So I get to take DD to Gladstone from Adelaide (2 flights) then hire a car and drive 120km out to where he is working. Oh my that'll be a fun day.

7 weeks!! @gingermillie I would not survive! I find by the second week I have zero patience for the kids so I'd hate to see me after 3 weeks or more!

Lots planned this week, friends catch ups, nieces staying over & movies usually I have Wednesday's to myself but with school holidays Kindy/daycare is not open!

My other half is training for a new job for 10 weeks. He is staying 2hrs away and only comes home on the weekends. This is the start of week 4.

He left about 40mins ago for the week... he just doesnt get how hard the week is with the 4 kids.

I had a meltdown this weekend and I think he might come home every second wednesday night now to help with ds who is 3 in october. He has been soooo naughty since df started his training and im not coping

I also have trouble sleeping when df isn't here... has anyone got any tips to help with that?

If I'm struggling I spray my old teddy bear with his aftershave. Probably sounds sooky and pathetic but it's comforting.

I tend to go to bed earlier when DH is away, find I can get to sleep easy if I'm in bed at 8:30ish. I also either sleep in the middle of the bed or have one of my girls jump in with me.
