Crap food and impulse purchases on crappy things that end up not being used or needing to be replaced with better quality things anyway.

My biggest waste is buying too much fruit and veg for the week, not getting eaten and then eventually getting thrown out. Or the ingredients I buy to make a dish that never gets cooked.

Swimming lessons for ds. He took a million miles of coaxing to get him in, then after a few lessons he got the swing of it, and then his teachers dunked him under. No warning. Would not get in the pool again. No refund on the remaining 1/2 term.
