Whole grain toast with some form of protein and vegetable.

Good combos are poached or scrambled egg and spinach

    Lean bacon and tomato

    Avocado and smoked salmon

I don't diet but my breakfast is eggs (scrambled or boiled), 1/2 large avocado, a handful of cherry tomatoes and a handful of baby spinach leaves.

I add apple and cinnamon to oats that way DD eats it too, it's not as yuk then lol, and oats are low gi so the should keep you full for a while.

We've started making our own granola, as there's usually something we don't like in it or too much sugar, so I have that with yogurt.

I sometimes have cottage cheese, or a green smoothie, eggs, or just fruit.

my breakfast is usually cereal with skim milk, plus a banana. sometimes just the banana. sometimes an orange. I usually eat fruit in the mornings, a wrap at lunchtime, and then a regular dinner. no after dinner eating, only perhaps a cup of chia tea, if I feel like that. marie.

Love me a good green smoothie. Avocado, kale, spinach, banana, nectarine, mango, cashews and chia seeds - fills me up until about 11-12pm.

I'm not on a diet as such but I count calories most days. I allocate about a third just to breakfast which is usually eggs. Currently it's avocado and 2 soft boiled eggs on two small slices of sourdough, with a dukkah/spice mix sprinkled on top (sesame seeds, salt, turmeric, cumin and sumac). It's freakin awesome. I also have a low fat milk coffee and a Berocca.
