Default coming off the pill to try for baby

Hi i finished taking my pill (the last active pill and not the other ones) on fri. I still havent had a af or withdrawal bleed. If i missed one or 2 pills id usually get a withdrawal bleed for a few days and id just keep taking the pill as usual.
I have missed some here and there and have unprotected sex with my partner. I have come off the pill to try for a baby. I have been getting light cramps like af is coming for 3 days but only got very light spotting yesterday lunchtime and some today. I havent felt any different other than feeling a bit queezy yesterday. Is this normal coming off the pill?
    Thank you

hi, I think everyone has similar reactions when coming off the pill. I understand it can take some time for your body to return to 'normal' once you stop the pill. your age and your general health can also make a difference to how your body responds. I suggest you just wait for two or three weeks, and if no signs of af, perhaps a home pregnancy test. . marie.

    Everyone reacts differently.

You could be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test to see. If you're not, just wait for AF and when she arrives that's your CD1.

Good luck with your TTC journey

Our bodies certainly do strange things coming off the pill. After 10 years with no break my cycles were very long so it is not unusual. Unfortunately it becomes a bit of a waiting game, but certainly test if AF doesn't arrive.
