Every morning DD tiptoes into our room and climbs up into the bed and wakes me with a big kiss and cuddle ❤️ and then she whispers...

'Mummy... I want weetbix. GET UP!!! I WANT WEETBIX!' Ahh, the first 10 seconds are lovely 😂

I love parenting DS. He's such a thoughtful, kind, clever little soul.

I love it when he wakes up and sees me and says "oh hi mummy how are you?" in his sweet voice. He is a total joy. He has his moments but generally he's the coolest person I know!

    Couldn't resist commenting!

Every morning when DS1 who is 2.5 years is ready to leave for childcare with daddy, he says "bye, my princess mumma"! Melts my heart, every single time!

Oh I love this thread I love reading all the cuteness! I've been struggling with being a mum since DD was born 6 months ago but nothing beats when she laughs. She makes you work bl00dy hard for it but it's like my drug to get me through the hard days. I've got a video of me and her and she's laughing so much it's so cute. I watch it all the time when I'm struggling 😊
Oh and when she wakes up or sees me in general she smiles and waves her arms and legs like crazy like she's saying I am sooooo excited to see you mummy. Melts me every time
Falling asleep in my arms when I feed her overnight she looks so peaceful and I kiss her chubby cheeks. My heart swells.
Can't wait for the stuff coming up that I've read in this thread so sweet

I'm a bit of a sook today because DS is with his dad til Sunday and I'm missing his guts and just want to smoosh him.

Christmas this year was magical because of him and the joy and enthusiasm he brought.

When he says 'can I look at you?' Usually when I'm sitting on the toilet but it's nice that he misses me I guess.

I just love now that he's talking. He doesn't stop. On Monday we went to feed the ducks and one of the bits of bread sank into the seaweed which perturbed him no end. He was yelling 'excuse me! Ducks! Dere some bwead still in the fowest!'

    He's just pretty damn special.

    *sniff*

I'm going through a really tough time at the moment and my 11 year old has blown me away with some of the things she has said recently.

eg - I went clothes shopping and came home with nothing (because I couldn't find a dress I liked that fit properly) and mumbled somecome out wanting to lose weight. DD turned around and said "Why would you want to do that. I think you're perfect the way you are"

I'm going through an emotional time at the moment and burst out crying when we came home on Christmas day after something that a relative of mine said. DD gave me a big hug and said "Don't worry mum, you have something she (our relative) doesn't have. You have us and we all love you very much."

Your daughter sounds like she has such a sweet, sensitive soul - beautiful traits to nurture. Hope things are on the up for you soon *hugs* x

DS is a Dad's boy completely so my favourite time is at night after his dinner and bath, when he smells delicious and is all snuggly, he climbs up into my chair with me and his milk and has cuddles and a book before bed.
