Yes the entry of the CUB into the bogan sphere in the early noughties definitely blurred the bogan boundaries, hence the bogan spectrum.

    Love a bogan thread!

Default Spin off: How 'bogan' are you?

Years ago, I wouldn't have called myself a bogan, but I think my hubby has turned me into one!
    - I have two coffee tables
    - We eat dinner on the couch, almost never use our dining table
    - I don't have down lights but wish I had some in our kitchen
    - I own multiple pairs of trackies (the good bogan kind - black adidas ones with the stripes down the leg haha) but I don't wear them out in public. I will however wear my 'fancy' Lululemon trackies out and about.
    - I swear a lot, DH swears more.
    - I drive a SUV/4x4, DH drives a dual cab ute
    - Until recently, we parked our cars on the lawn. We've just had our yard redone so we don't anymore but the reason that we don't park in our garage is because it's already full with two quad bikes.
    - I own about 10 pairs of thongs, and I also have a pair of ugg boots
    - DH has a bunch of tatts, I don't have any but go through phases where I consider it. I love the tattoo shows on TV like ink master, tattoo nightmares etc
    - My drink of choice is passionfruit UDL. I call them oodles.

I could keep going, but I feel that's enough bogan admissions for one day... 😳

My kind of thread! I am the epitome of bogan.

    - drive the upper class commodore (berlina)
    - wear tracksuit pants and uggies in public (I live in a cold climate, it's necessity so you don't lose extremeties)
    - thongs are only for when I need to go somewhere, at home we're barefoot even outside
    - own pandora and guess items
    - shop at kmart
    - drink pink lips moscato
    - have a tattoo and to make it even more bogan it's ds' name and star sign (that's double bogan points)

No down lights, coffee table or strider pram (I went even more bogan upper class with a baby jogger lol) and ds doesn't have a "bogan" name but it also not common (you can see my thread about that one)

    So what's my score?

45% according to my calculations! So not at 50% yet = not quite fully fledged bogan!

Unless you can add any of these to the list...?

With BMW's it is a 'class' thing. I live in Brisbane and it is actually more of a snooty business man car. I think Mercedez is more 'cashed up bogan'. They have loads of 'affordable payment plans' (take note it is a rip off) which makes them the car of a bogan choice in my opinion.
Yes merc = bogan. I have one and thought it was a classy car but then joined a merc FB page and its full of bogans bragging about how fast they can get them and all sorts of mod kits to make them sound louder. I posted a query about sun shade to fit the car (for the window next to DD's baby seat) and just got responses about 'fully sick illegal tinting'. Apparently protecting you baby from being burnt is daggy lol.
