Going to be baking xmas cookies with the kids. Then later tonight wrapping spring rolls for tomorrow. Presents already wrapped. They just need labels then under the tree when the kids are asleep.

Lady Elfsa (our elf) brings Xmas pjs, santa's key and 'the night before christmas'. Hubby takes DD out for the morning while I do all the wrapping and food prep. He brings her home for her nap. Then in the evening we go out for a meal (no washing up lol). DD has her bath and her xmas story. We put out the key for Santa along with the plate of mince pies, carrots and milk. The we lay out our sacks. DD goes to bed. We have a drink lol

My DHs family celebrate Christmas Eve so we all get together and have a big dinner tonight, then unwrap presents! It's always a big affair

My baby is due tomorrow! Last night I had a lot of cramping and tightenings that lasted all night and I thought he would come today but it all stopped. My 2.5yo also decided not to sleep at all. So today I'm surviving on zero sleep and expecting there's a good chance I'm having a Christmas Day baby!
As for what we're doing, we're mostly watching Christmas movies and just hanging out. Really need to wrap presents but will have to wait till kids go to bed tonight. Hopefully Ben decides to sleep tonight!

This Christmas eve is more or less a clean up day before my sister's and mum arrive tomorrow. Tonight Santa will be passing by on his fire truck as usual before DS1 goes to bed. Might keep DS2 this time to let him see him. Maybe a horrible mistake though as he will have a 2nd wind.
Once the kids are out, kitchen clean up. (oh the horror) and then get the presents under the tree.
Admittedly this has been a very un Christmasy kind of Christmas eve for me.

Well I've made the potato salad so now I'm going to bake brownies, have a clean up and marinate the chicken. Then once the kids are in bed I'll finish wrapping, fill the stockings andset up some santa evidence (half eat carrot, drink the milk and leave crumbs from the cookie lol.

Also dp is bringing groceries home tonight so I'll be making jelly very late tonight argh.

I am still awake from working night shift. Have finally made it to bed but wide awake and so much on my mind right now. We went fishing for a good 4hrs. Only caught 1 fish but kiddo caught lots of little crabs which he let go.

Came home, cooked lunch and now time to hopefully sleep. Tonight kiddo is throwing a pizza party for 3 people and maybe 1 more pending on if he can make it then off to work tonight. Going to be great fun. I gotta run down to woolies once kiddo is asleep though to grab a santa wrapping paper and ribbon to wrap his santa present then will be off to work tonight. Not really looking forward to it with not going to be sleeping much.

I'm so sorry Sian's Mum. I'm sure these big celebrations are extra hard. Big hugs.
