    Default Daddy-obsessed daughter

My 3 year old is soooo obsessed with Daddy it isn't funny- not just a daddy's girl but absolutely obsessive!! Hubby has to get her dressed, brush her teeth, take her in and out of car/bath, put her to bed etc etc. She makes him hold her the whole time we are out and sit on his lap if we are somewhere for dinner etc. I get told to go away all the time (hurtful!) I have honestly never seen a child so obsessed. I'm not sure if this is actually normal

Absolutely normal. Right now it's her Dad, later on it might be you. Eventually (when she's a teenager) it will probably be neither of you!
My DS is Daddy obsessed. Anything Daddy does, DS has to do too! Daddy leaves the room and there's a meltdown.

DD has been like this since the day she was born! She's nearly 7 now.

Yep. My mum commented in the early days that if my husband could b'feed I'd not get a look in. He spent the first 3 hours with her as I had complications post birth and was taken away, so I've put it down to that.
My son is soooo clingy to me I couldn't do with 2. Ha

Same here. DD is 4, wants him to do everything with her. I'm just not cutting it for her right now!
