Christmas at our house for me... Hosting 2 families/38 people. Arghh!!

I'm CD13 today, feeling heavy OV pains again. I dread this every month, it's so bloody painful Haven't had a +'Ve OPK yet, but expecting it either tomorrow or the next day as I've been ovulating on CD15 the last couple of months.

This will make me 4-6dpo on Xmas day, annoying! And 10-12dpo on New Years Eve! Planning a low key kid friendly NY this year so that there is no pressure to drink though. What are everyone's thoughts on drinking in the 2WW?

Oh wow! I hope you have a wonderful christmas! I'd love to host here but our house is so small.
Drinking in the TWW - I have been lately (last 2 or 3 cycles). I know the one time I was 5 weeks pregnant (but didn't know it), I couldn't handle the taste or smell - I had a sip of my drink and was instantly repulsed.
I'll be drinking Christmas day (CD14) because I know I won't have ovulated before then, but probably not on new years (CD20).

I am so excited this month. We have previously had bad SA test results for hubby but its all good now. I have never had a positive with the CB ovulation predictors but the doctor always tells me I am ovulating. How can this be?

What time of day are you testing?

Last cycle I never got a positive OPK but my bloods done after confirmed I had - I knew I would ovulate too because I had a scan and saw the dominant follicle. (I have PCOS though so it's not uncommon to have sh!t luck with OPKs).

I always test first thing in the morning. Thats what it says to do on the packet. This is our last cycle before I start taking clomid.

    I'm jumping in for the 12th @Sabochan

We are three months post-vasectomy reversal so I think this is when the fun really begins!!
