Default adoption or foster to adopt in Perth WA

    Hi all,

Can anyone help with their experiences with adoption or foster to adopt of newborns/toddlers and sibling groups of young age in Perth?

We have been ttc for 4 years with no luck so exploring other options but have heard many stories- mostly horror stories but the odd happy ending. Im wondering what the adoption process is like in WA and if its possible to be placed with a baby. Is the process long like i have read, I would like to know if its something we could get our hopes up about of whether the whole process is just heartbreak after heartbreak, with red tape and expenses.

Can anyone help or share their story?

    Thank you

Default adoption or foster to adopt in Perth WA

    Hi ECM1981

I don't have experience with this but I know Wanslea is involved in Foster Care and are often seeking Foster carers so it might be worth a look.

Thanks wobbleyhorse WA is so different to other states. VIC has a way better foster to adopt program run through Bernados from what i can see. I wish WA was the same. I will check out wanslea. Thanks!
