    Default Hospital excesses

Stupid question but need to ask. Just thinking about 3rd Bub.
At the beginning of 2017 I'll need a minor operation so will pay hospital excess in January.
My policy is 1 excess payment per year.
My hospital requires payment at 32 weeks for excess with pregnancy.
If 32 weeks is 2017 but Bub is born early 2018 will I need to pay another $250 or will the hospital when processing at 32 weeks state to wave fee

I think you will need to call your insurance provider to confirm because all are different but I think if the services are actually used in the new year then I would think you'd have to pay a new excess.
