Default Travelling to Fiji with a 4month old baby

My sister is planning on getting married in September 2016 at Radisson Blu resort in Denaru. It will be me, DH, DD 4yo & 4mo bubs (due 25/2016) all traveling over.

Hopefully bubs would have had it's 4 month vaccinations by then, so im hoping it would be a lesser risk of contracting something horrible. I'm planning on BFing, but we will see how that goes!

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions about traveling to Fiji with a young baby?

Has anyone stayed at the Radisson Blu resort before - what was it like?

    Thanks!

I've stayed there twice. Incredibly kid friendly, great pools for little kids and the staff were lovely. Both times have been very relaxing and easy holidays. We had the 1 bedroom courtyard room so could put kids to sleep in the bedroom, and we could stay up in the lounge without disturbing them. Being on the ground floor we had lovely gardens in front of our room and the kids could run around and play. Also meant we had a full kitchen and washer/dryer, very handy when traveling with little people.

I haven't been to Fiji but with respect to the vaccinations it might help to get bub's 2 month vaccinations at 6 weeks so you can ensure the 4 month ones get done before you leave. There has to be at least a 2 month gap between the vaccinations and a few of my friends have been turned away when they tried to get their bub's done only a day earlier.

Yes I will definitely be doing this. Looks like it will be a week or so after bub turning 4 months old when we go, so I'll be booking bub in to get them the very day they turn 4 months. Unless they come early that is!

Thank you this is great advice! My 4yo is super active as well, so it would nice to be able to sit back & watch her let loose.
