Hi ladies hope everyone is going well and had a nice rest. I took a bit of an Internet holiday and have missed loads!! Congratulations bongley! And so sorry to those who their cycles did not work out this time. Hopefully there will be a big ivf baby boom in 2016.
So just to give an update. I am 8 weeks now after going to Cape Town and having two DE transferred. At week 5 I had a bit of bleeding, had an early scan and one sac and embryo were seen and everything was fine. Last night I had light spotting and luckily today was my 8 week scan. All is well (thank god)and this time the dr found two sacs and two heartbeats! So I am silently freaking out but very excited (cautiously)
she said bleeding was normal and relax. So that's my story!
Hope there will be more of you joining me in the twin club (@bongley)

@Precious40 I have the Fitbit charge hr too and love it. When you are pregnant you can also use it to monitor HR as an extra check that you are not overdoing it/overheating. It got my Fitbit flex from JB Hi-Fi and I think they have a price guarantee, then I got the charge HR using QANTAS points - so sort of free.

Congratulations @Lolly99 you must be stoked. I cannot imagine the joy of hearing those heartbeats. Do you have a due date?

@Blossom whilst I find IVF a huge turnoff, Wazza recommends nookies everyday or every other day throughout stimming "20-second specials". Then turkey baster for night of EPU. I know it differs between FSs, but research has shown greater frequency (even during non-fertile times) increases pregnancy rates. Apparently protein in sperm is also good for our lining. Your FS might disagree, but thought I'd let you know as I know how hard you are trying.

Good luck for today @Precious40, don't keep us in suspense for too long.
@Bongley big congrats on your BFP I hope the scan goes well and your parents are able to understand.
@Gagingi, @Tahli and @Sue77 I am so sorry to hear that your transfers didn't work. Sue I don't know much about surrogacy in the Ukraine, but do work in the travel industry. Having dealt with the Ukraine in that regard, it is probably not a country I would want to have medical dealings with. i don't want to say too much on a public forum. Let me know if you want further info and I will pm you.
@Summer sorry to hear about your bells palsy. I hope the prednisone settles it soon.
@JulieMalooley sorry about your hemorrhoids. I have never experienced them so can only imagine how uncomfortable you must be.
@Charlie74 I am glad to hear your niece is doing a lot better.
@midnite01 I would also be interested in a Melbourne catch up.

    Hello to everyone else

I will probably be starting a cycle early February so not to long to go now.
    Welcome back Luv!!!😊

Hope you had a good trip away😊 Will aend out a prayer now to "set the scene" for your upcoming Cycle!!!😊👍

So that would be the 13th @Bongley - you do realise by giving us a date you're going to get inundated/stalked too!?!?!?!?! I wouldn't put it past the Sydney ladies on this thread turning up in the waiting room! Maybe they could hook up the scanner for a live feed?

All true but when your other half has no sperm it's prob a bit pointless though the semen itself has sugars etc it so maybe not Luv???

Stop jinxing me you lot! He's just a very strong embryo. Worked out the doubling time was every 32 hours, which is still normal, just very keen.

*hides under dooner for next week*
