Hi all. I've been catching up on the thread and trying not to laugh too much on public transport and work etc to make me look like a crazy lady. Bib you just have the best one liners!!!

Sorry to hear about the nasty backside issues and the scary facial droops. Ivf is tough on our bodies for sure. Take care of yourselves and Google those natural remedies. Last thing you need is more chemicals in the system.

Afm I'm waiting to cycle. Should start next Tuesday. Have an appt with my next fs on Monday and he'll go through all my blood tests. I'm really nervous about that appointment. What if I find out something is really bad and then this last transfer booked for Feb with my old fs is going to be really tough. Going into it knowing it won't work is different to when there is a glimmer of hope.

That's why I couldn't respond straight away. There's no way he could donate to anyone while your ttc. Like you said, your heart would fall to pieces if they fell pregnant. You've had enough grief and sadness to carry in your heart. You don't need more. Huge hugs of gratitude, xx.
You are such a sweetheart @Tahli and honestly it would be such an amazing thing to do to be a part of helping someone create a family. I know DH will do it oneday and he has such super-dooper top of the range in every category Mr Perfect swimmers that it would be a waste not to. Timing huh? I really, really hope everything falls into place for your next CT trip. I'll have everything crossed triple for you.

@Summer sorry you have been so sick again, it sounds very scary, take care of yourself, easier said than done I know

Think I'm developing prednisone bloat, around my belly, should have figured it would settle there. It's been 3 weeks, does that sound about right? I have thin limbs and all my fat gathers rather unhelpfully around my waist, I look like a potato with toothpicks for arms and legs. 10 days to the growth scan next week (still trying to book it in), that's going to be very nerve wracking.

I'll be stalking like a mad woman tomorrow @Precious40 don't keep us in suspenders!

When I got my preliminary tests done prior to IVF in 2014, my AMH was 18 or something. I remember at the time thinking - great that means I have lots of eggs left so I must have a good chance of getting some good ones. Wrong, it doesn't really mean a lot. It's all about quality over quantity.

On another note, the 43 year old girlfriend of a good friend of my husbands had her baby today. They weren't trying, no previous children, took no supplements when trying not to conceive ( no folate nothing) was severely anaemic when she found out she was pregnant. I think about her every morning when I'm swallowing my 8 horse pills of elevit, various vitamins and ubiquinol. Some people are just lucky I guess.

He's brilliant. We went from a bad experience with our previous FS & just loved Dr C from our first interview. He is definitely invested in getting his patients pregnant, which was what we were looking for, our previous clinic made us feel just like a number & we felt it was all about the $$ for them. I hope you have as much luck with him as we have x

@Petal40 - I agree, I really like him. He makes me feel like I'm an important patient and spends time talking though things. He's very genuine. I hope I get lucky too!
