PM'd you my number @Tahli
On a bit of a different subject (kind of...)
Do any of you follow TwoBabyMamas on FB and Youtube?
They are a delightful lesbian couple who have conceived a beautiful cherub of a daughter (Saskia) using donor sperm, and are currently 22 weeks pregnant with their second daughter.
They do weekly VLogs on pregnancy and life in general, and are extremely lovely and funny. I look forward to seeing them every week.
They also (sadly) suffered a partial molar pregnancy in their first pregnancy and spoke quite poignantly about that.
I find them inspiring.
@Blossom74 I actually gave up reading about pregnancy or IVF stuff a while ago, except for the googling whilst cycling so I haven't heard of them. They sound great though. I realised the other day how much I used to look at/read stuff about all of it and how I haven't done it in so long. I think Ive been slowly progressing towards giving up and that was part of it.
Going anywhere interesting for work?
Nah, just back to my home town, about an hour from Melbourne. It's a 3 hour drive but I'll stay at Mum and Dad's place overnight. I'll be able to check in on BH after dinner to celebrate any good news that may come along....
MamaKes for sharing your story of Bell's Palsy as well - I guess it is something that can happen when your immune system is down I have had awful trouble getting my health back after all the meds I did last year and I thought I was going OK but about three weeks before Christmas I ended up in an ambulance and off to hospital because my heart was racing WAY too fast and my blood pressure was dropping dangerously low - the jury is still out but we think it was thyroid related although all my tests were inconclusive.
Then a week before Christmas I got what I thought was a really bad cold that knocked me sideways and I guess it wasn't a cold but a virus that has led to the Bell's Palsy. So my immune system must be completely up the creek at the moment, and I thought I was doing so well
It doesn't sound like mine is as bad as yours was, you poor thing. I had a chiro session today that made a huge difference and I've started on 25mg of Pred plus a heap of natural supplements and I'm definitely improved. This morning I talked with a weird lisp but it's gone tonight so hopefully it is only a mild case.
I will talk about it with my FS next week and if I have to wait a month before cycling again, that's fine. It's a long shot anyway, but you're right, recovering from something like this is probably not the best time to be trying to produce healthy eggs. Thanks so much for sharing your story - BP is not fun at all
@Summer Bloody Hell Luv!! What an ordeal!!!
You've been unlucky allright but hopefully now you're back on the upswing and will be 100% recovered in no time at all!! Good luck with your appointment next week too
Good Luck to all the other Lovelies Cycling this month as well!!!
Am and praying up a storm for you all!!!
Blossom74 I strongly recommend the HALRAR op. I had those grapes for years till it finally blew, right out and the dr suggested the procedure and its success rates. My butt has been perfect since then until this goddamn pregnancy constipation. The extra blood flow to the area because of pregnancy too is not helping. I'm already using proctosedyl @BlondeinBrisvegas but I'm going to try the apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball as well from tomorrow (thx @Summer)
