@Bongley yeah its kind of complicated to explain over the phone at the best of times, could you write to them and explain it? and tell everyone to keep it quiet, then ring them when they have read it? Your mum is maybe not going to get there with it but I guess atleast if you have told her its been said.

Are you guys going to tell everyone that bub is from a DE? All this stuff I haven't quite thought about properly yet..or is it more just family and close friends that you tell. A lot of kids don't necessarily look like one parent in particular so its not necessarily an obvious thing hey. Does the counselling go through all this stuff with you?
@billie the weight thing is important with Elonva as there are 2 doses but not as far as I know with gonal/puregon

@tuxcat The counselors do go through it but it's more of a 'these are the things that you should be thinking about' and other resources, such as pieces written by parents of and donor conceived children.

Yeah, we'll tell friends and family at first but we'll tell anyone if it's relevant. I imagine it won't really come up that much. If there are any comments about who looks like who a nod and a smile would probably go a long way He'll probably have brown eyes (myself and my partner have blue) but I'll just say it runs in the extended family if we can't be @rsed explaining the whole donor egg route. Frankly my son doesn't look like me or my partner either.

My second FS used Menopur with the Orgalutran (which by the way was the winning combo for me, giving me better numbers & quality). Very exciting for you to be starting a new cycle
thats the combo for me this cycle@Petal40 - I think we may have the same FS!

@Summer ok I hadn't heard of that. Ive joined egg donation aus and there are donors on there - we are going to be looking into a similar route to bongley. So you could possibly find somewhere in Australia and save a heap of money. Im just a little confused why they would fly people here when theres donors around aus? Is it because theres loads of people so you would find someone instantly? I know the australian way will take time
Yes I think it was the finding someone instantly that is the drawcard. Within a day of emailing I had three ladies to choose from and they would be here cycling in March, so very quick and easy. I have held off for the moment as I still have my friend who offered to donate to me deciding whether she is or not and she would be my first choice, and I also wanted to get in a cycle of my own in January, so I'm hoping that if that becomes my best option, that they are continuing with that program and that they'll be here in April or May as well.

@Blossom74 I have used both orgalutron and cetrotide. The needle is slightly larger. If you get the point in the right place. I always made sure the hole was pointing up. If that makes sense. Once I found the sweet spot. I was all good. Good luck with the new combo. It worked for me.

I am going well today. No smears. Not much cramping at all. I am on 400mg pessies a day. But I decided to pop a 200mg in the middle of the day. Not sure why. Just felt right thing to do

    Only one more sleep........

If this is pregnancy... Then it's going to be a long ride. Feeling of AF all the time..

I have been been talking to both embies of late... Yes I'm weird
