@Sue77 I thought India still did surrogacy but Nepal doesn't? I was looking into it a earlier this year and that was the case then unless it changed. I think people were still going to Nepal too but getting out was a nightmare a friend of a friend got stuck there for weeks with twins and it was really hard for them getting stuff for babies. America and Canada are 100000 dollars plus. Thailand went to crap because of poor baby Gammy. It is really hard sorry no other advice here but I will let you know if I hear anything. When I mentioned to my FS Wazza about me doing surrogate he took me straight I didn't need it and that I needed donor embryos. I wasn't sure but did you get told you needed to use a surrogate. Sorry if you already said I haven't had time to read back much. I will try to today.

@DAMnia hello. I am in QLD so not sure on WA. If you don't mind flying for a holiday I do but only a 2 hr flight then I suggest QFG Brisbane Wazza is my specialist but he has a 12 month wait list so you could see one of his colleagues he works closely with a Doctor Mooring she steps in when he is away.

Not that there is anything wrong with that but well it does explain the average s.ex, I used to think it was because we were young and inexperienced now I know it wasn't that. Well my D and C is done and dusted. I feel great actually no pain. I have also chosen my donor she looks nothing like me but she is absolutely stunning, 24 yrs old and has done 2 previous cycles both resulting in twin pregnancies first transfer for the intended mums. I was a bit reluctant because she is quite dark where as I and hubby are very fair and I am still undecided about if we will tell any children about them been donor babies but her profile was outstanding she is very healthy ect and shares same height and build as me. It is quite hard selecting a donor but she feels right. Also my mum reminded me that most of my family are olive skinned and darker just not me so I could have had a darker featured baby with my own eggs anyway as they quite often throw back. @Bongley a BFP is s good sign hopefully it gets darker and darker for you.

Am glad the procedure went well and you're feeling ok Luv

That's great you've picked out a donor too

Wondering if perhaps there are some Perth ladies on here who can give recommendations (PM's welcome too) for an over 40's friendly clinic.

We have been TTC #2 for a year now, the plan was if it happened it happened but with several family members announcing pregnancies recently suddenly the want for another is much stronger!! #1 took 2.5years to conceive (naturally) and arrived just prior to my 40th birthday. In the past 12 months I have had 3 early losses (chems) with nothing getting past 5 weeks.

Anyway, long story short. Looking for a clinic/specialist that will offer perhaps meds to improve number/quality of eggs and timed intercourse options to an over 40. We did go to one clinic for assessment when TTC #1 but they were only interested in offering IVF based on my age (and I was only 37 then!). Unfortunately it is not really on the table for us finance wise.
    Welcome to the thread danmia!!!

I don't know anyone in Perth either as I'm in Brisbane. Am sure one of the other Lovelies can help.

    Hi girls,

A quick fly-in fly-out from me. I am about to leave on a 4 hour drive to meet with my FS. I'll be back tomorrow - I'm staying overnight at my sisters as it would be too big a day to drive for 8 hours.

Will catch up with you all when I get back. Wish me luck!

    Hugs to all,

    Blossom

@Maxwellsmum well, its not a real BFP (its from the trigger meds) and in fact I'd like it to get lighter so that it can then get darker! Also with regards to using a donor my FS and counselor told me that in the future there will be a record of the child being donor conceived (with an asterix on the birth certificate) although perhaps that's just with births that could be tracked here with the donor's register in australia, not sure how that would be enforced with someone who has gone OS to get up the duff.

@Blossom74 good luck, hope all goes well with your FS

    welcome @danmia

@Tahli, I have heard of people having MRI for diagnosis of adeno. Better than a lap but still expensive. I had 3 months of Zolodex for my adeno. I believe that is the best treatment bu it does reduce egg numbers if you are thinking you might give own eggs another try in future. I have also heard of lucrin and the pilll being used for adeno.
