AFM, DH and I are driving 2 hours to go and get our eyes tested and pick out new glasses. Always a joy. Especially since when I take my glasses off, I can't see the new ones on my face. Might have something to do with the fact that they always put their damn advertising sticker right where my iris is, but anywho....I'll be back tonight. Have a great day all

@Chiefsgirl I've just made notes from your two posts in preparation for today/tonight's call from Dr M. Thanks heaps for sharing your story too. Do you think he'll ask me to have a hysteroscopy? I'm just wondering seeing as Dr W in Cape Town has asked me to have a HyCoSy.
As a side note, I'm leaning towards a single embryo transfer next time, esp if I have a full immune protocol behind me. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Goodness knows what they'll find once they start digging around.
It's also crazy that if I pay under $2k for flights I'm ok with having a single transfer but if I pay over $2k then I want a double transfer. It's amazing how much financial sacrifice determines how many embryos to implant.
I've also been thinking about having 3 embryos left and the combination of how to transfer them (presuming they all thaw well), so it's either 3 x single transfer or 1 x single and 1 x double. Food for thought.
Thanks for the birthday wishes girls!!

Just out of curiosity what did the FS say to your friend when none of her DE survived? Did they say there was no point using the same donor?
My mind is just spinning I know I really need to go back and talk to my FS but can't face it

@Charlie74 Your dessert sounded amazing!! If I'm honest, I don't think I'd fly up to Sydney for the extra 300mls of intralipids. I'd be strongly asking LB to see if she'd add the extra 300mls first. Have you asked her yet?

@MissDa My ED had donated 4 times before me. The first 3 resulted in pregnancies. The 4th donation about 25 eggs were collected, about 20 fertilized but all arrested on day 4. The clinic put it down to the husbands poor sperm quality. It must have been heartbreaking for them. (Secretly I kind of wished that they'd held a few eggs back & fertilized them with DS so they at least had some-thing to transfer but that must not have been what they'd wanted.)
It sounds like the girls on here plus the Azoo thread would most probably have some great advice for you if you felt like you could go again. Huge hugs.

@Precious40 dang it!!! Ah well, we'll just have to wait.

I did a digi today now I'm home (which was completely pointless as I'll be getting my bloods tomorrow) and it said 3+ weeks, so that's a little ahead of target. Should be interesting to see what the HCG levels are tomorrow.......be nice to book in a growth scan.

    happy birthday @Chiefsgirl and @Tahli

thanks for the link BIB, that was well written.

BTW does anyone know what type of testing should be done after a PGD normal embryo has taken?? Nothing? Is that it? No nuchal or double checking?

    Still no symptoms here.
