Yeah Xmas day- thanks Santa you a- hole just unbelievable. Then I had 12 people over for lunch!
I think that's it for us
My donor wants to go again, she really is awesome but I guess you have to walk away at some point
I've taken the day off work, am going to the GP to see about getting a referral for some counselling, I don't really think there is anything they can say to make it better but i can't keep taking days off because of uncontrollable crying!
    Thanks again

Sorry to hear such devastating news and where to next is the hardest part especially if your donor is willing too. I hope you can find peace in your decision either way. The ladies on here are your pillow to rest on when you're feeling low.

@Charlie74 It's my birthday today too. Please have an extra dessert for me BUT it must involve chocolate. Promise?!
@Chiefsgirl happy belated birthday! Thanks heaps for the advice on what to ask Dr M tomorrow. Youre a star....who is definitely talking a foreign language! I'm so not down with all the immunological procedures! But thanks heaps! I'm just about to finish getting the paperwork together and scan it to him. Talk about cutting it fine. I'll have my son with me when I take the call tomorrow so I've got no idea how it's going to work?!
@BlondeinBrisvegas thanks heaps for the good wishes. The apt has rolled around abit too fast if I'm honest. As you can tell I'm not quite prepared! I had to cancel Xmas and my bday plans as my DS has a golden staph infection. A pretty exhausting festive season.
@Precious40 Good luck if you decide to POAS, or ten. You certainly have a captive audience!
@Bongley I've typed a reply to your first beta post 2.5 times and then deleted them. My replies were a bit too cheeky. I'll wait till your 2nd beta then reply properly. Yay for no PMT symptoms and enjoy Noosa! Very jealous!!
@Blossom Exciting times ahead! I'm just so glad your getting another chance. And thank goodness you looked after your neighbours furr balls.
@MissDa I wanted to send you massive hugs. I just can't believe that result, to have lost all of your embryos. It's not the way you want to be drawing a line under the IVF journey is it. As the girls have said, you're welcome here anytime for any reason.

Darn it, it's not liking the link!

Maybe try googling women giving up on ivf early or go to the essential baby website?

@Chiefsgirl Do you mind me asking....did you use Dr M in your cycles leading up to Hawaii or just for your successful DE cycle?

@Precious40 I'm in the DO IT! camp, of course.

@Tahli hahahaha, ah yeah I've been trying to reign myself back until more milestones are met but we've been pretty excited and making plans. The word 'jinx' springs to mind.

@MissDa can you do another cycle? What happened with the last one? Maybe your donor would respond better with a new tweaked cycle?

Hi to everyone else, good to see the gang back

Basically the article said woman are giving up on ivf too early and its only after 9 stim cycles that their chances of a take home baby reduce.

    Happy Birthday Luv!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear of DS's Golden Staph infection!! Bloody Nora!!!

I hope it's not too serious Luv?? Is it a hospital job for IV antibiotics to treat?? Oh Luv...what a worry on top of everything else!!

If it's at all possible, please try to do one small thing for yourself tonight ok?? Even if it's just a candlelit bubble bath with some lovely tunes playing in the background. I'd also recommend a big, fat glass of champers too!!!

I will accept a block of chocolate, tub of ice cream or some other delightful sugary concoction to celebrate your day with instead!!!xo
