Obv as a single woman there's no partner testing/compatibility issues that can be tested for. I just want 'everything' else investigated so I don't waste my last 3 embryos. @Bongley I can't wait to hear what your beta number is today! Were you game and DTD around trigger too? That was a mighty strong line for 12dpo!!
I would ask about surface markers, fbc, standard auto immune testing. I would still mention hla testing even though you are using donor. There maybe something you can test for/treatment that covers it.

I would send him copies of all your blood tests/hysteroscopies etc that you have had done so he had that before your call.

Ask about Dex vs pred, ivig vs intralipids, frequency of infusions. Supplements. Clexane and progesterone doses and additions to what cfc prescribe.

He relies on the nk blood test that he does as well as his own biopsy testing done via hysteroscopy. The surface marker tests have to be done at laverty, other labs can't process them.

BIB, my niece is doing great! They got home Christmas Eve so we're all really relieved. My sister has an appt with someone at the hospital to go in and debrief about what went wrong with her labour and subsequent events. They have discovered that both her infection and babies infection were nosocomial or in other words hospital acquired!! It appears as though having her waters broken by a midwife and then being left to suffer excruciating labour pains for 36hrs was the likely cause of both of them getting infections!!! Bloody disgusting. So my poor little niece was subjected to a lumber puncture at one day old thanks to complete incompetence by the sounds of it.. Anyway.. I'll calm down now.. It's going to be investigated at least which is a good thing.

And my DP, what a legend.. One day at home after his procedure and back at work since then with barely a whimper about any pain or discomfort- if it's possible to love him any more than I already did- then I certainly do!

AFM, my AF is now 3 days late. Which I think is exactly the same as the 2nd cycle after my first IVF cycle.. If that makes sense??! Lol.. My AF came 3 days early in November so now it appears to be correcting itself back to normal by being late! Psyching myself up to start the countdown to doing my FET in early Feb.. Will be starting all my immune meds etc by end of Jan & booking my flights to Sydney for intrallipids with Dr M.

I have one close friend doing a cycle in Jan, and another doing a transfer in Feb also.. Will the fates allow us all to get bfp's I wonder ?!!?

Nice to hear from u girls.. It's nice to have everyone trickling back in here again 😊
Am so glad to hear your niece is recovering well Luv😊

    Humph!!! "Likely cause" my a r s e!! It was the cause FFS's!!! Disgraceful!!😡

I hope your sister & her DH seek legal advice about this...I bloody-well would be!!! I will never understand why women are left to go for that long in labour when it's obvious F.A. progress is being made!!

Another reason I chose an elective C-Section to be honest Luv😐 Anyhoo...what a trooper your DH is too!!!😊 That's great to hear he's recovered so quickly with no dramas!!!👍

Countdown to FET is about to begin!!!😀 Hoping & praying for BFFP's for you all!!!

    Thanks everyone
I know you all have your own sadness so I greatly appreciate you all responding so quickly with kind words and cyber hugs.
Yeah Xmas day- thanks Santa you a- hole just unbelievable. Then I had 12 people over for lunch!
I think that's it for us
My donor wants to go again, she really is awesome but I guess you have to walk away at some point
I've taken the day off work, am going to the GP to see about getting a referral for some counselling, I don't really think there is anything they can say to make it better but i can't keep taking days off because of uncontrollable crying!
    Thanks again

Welcome love, although I'm sad to see you've had to join us under these circumstances. We are just gearing up to do our final cycle but I know if this doesn't work for us I would be all kinds of devastated too. I try not to think about the end of the journey much, but it must be terribly upsetting once you get there. I'm really sorry it didn't work out for you hon.

Please feel free to hang around here as long as you like and get some support from people who truly understand. We are all at various stages of IVF (and varying stages of sanity!) and while we might not be able to make your situation any better I'm sure you would benefit from having a good laugh with us.

    Hugs at this difficult time

So....for Christmas, Santa bought me AF

I guess I am now officially 'waiting to start my next cycle.'

I started on the OCP today, and I have to take that up to 20th January. Then I go off that and wait for AF to come on, before starting my Clomid and Gonal F on 25th January through to 3rd Feb. After that, it's scan, Ovidrel and (eeeekkkk!) EPU.

I can't believe I'm doing this AGAIN. Last time I did this was prior to joining our lovely thread (I actually joined shortly after my emby transfer), so it will be nice to have some company along the way this time.

Please let this be it for us. I know I'm still only new to IVF but I feel like I've been through so much already

Oh! I'm not sure if you're interested in a follow-up story at all, but....

You all remember my neighbour who left her dog and kitten alone for four weeks before I contacted the Police and the ranger came to collect them? (For anyone new to the thread, don't worry - I was feeding and watering them all the time she was away.)

    Anyway, she never came back!

Some people (not her) came by a couple of weeks ago and took some small personal belongings, and while we were away during Christmas someone has mowed the lawn, but I don't think she's coming back!

IMAGINE. Imagine what would have happened if I was not the nosy, animal-loving neighbour that I am.....
