@Tahli - thanks for your commiserations. I think that is a great decision about delaying your CT transfer . Better to get yourself checked out and ready for your bubbas. I know the waiting is always hard, but I think it makes sense both physically, stress and travel wise, and financially. Good luck with getting it all sorted, although you seem to be a pro at coordinating it all. Would you consider donor embryos as a cheaper option?

@Corbes, @Tahli, and @Caesardust, thank you for your well wishes. It's hit a lot harder this time. When I went to get BT this morning, I was a bit tearful and the girls sent me next door to see Wazza about titrating my meds, and we ended up doing up a plan for a stim cycle next month. He is such a lovely and amazing man. He thought it was good that we'd got two PGD embies this last cycle, but that is no guarantee for next time. He also thought it was good to do another stim cycle and we can transfer our frozen embie at the same time - so slightly higher chance we'll have a transfer, even if we don't get any normals in cycle #6 hopefully we'll have the FET, although there is always the risk it might not thaw safely. He also talked about donor eggs or donor embryos, but whilst that would give us much better odds, we're not there yet. I cannot believe how accessible and caring he is - with FS#1 I'd still have been trying to get in Feb or Mar.

    'Morning all,

Well, I had a good sleep aside from one funny incident at about 4am. DH leapt out of bed and ran down the hallway swearing. I heard him yelling out "Where are you?" and going from room to room, so I called back "In bed!" He came back in and said "What did you want?" and I was like ??? I didn't want anything, I was asleep! I think he must have been dreaming and thought I'd called out for him, but nope!

Thanks for all the congrats on the new cycle next year. I'm dreading actually going through it all - whether or not I will produce any eggs, the anaesthetic, the retrieval, the fertilisation, the transfer etc but whatever it takes. I am very lucky to get this opportunity and I am so grateful. My clinic is consulting with their head office and will be in contact over the next 2 weeks to give me a formal offer of cycle cost. Anything will be a bonus and maybe if I'm lucky it might be a free cycle?

It's funny, when I started IVF I was SO naive. I had no idea that sometimes follies can be empty and not contain an egg. I didn't realise some eggs fertilise and some don't. And when I was told mine had fertilised, I didn't know that they can perish before being frozen! This time round I'm going to be constantly stressing. Damn me for being slightly wiser!
@winsor, happy belated birthday love. Sorry I wasn't here for it at the time.
@Gagingi, I'm so sorry it was a BFN for you love. It never gets any easier, and must be so frustrating when you had a PGD tested emby.

Likewise, @Tahli, I'm so bl@@dy frustrated for you that your DE's are not sticking. I must say though that I'm stoked someone is looking into things a bit further for you. Much better to have a small delay in proceedings if it means giving your embies a better chanced love.

Good luck @precious 40 with your donor's EPU on Monday! And my very best wishes for your upcoming transfer.
@Charlie74, congrats on becoming an Aunty! I'm very sorry to hear your sister had such a rough time of it though. How's she doing today, and how is bubs. Thinking of you at this very happy, and at the same time, very challenging time.

    Hello to everyone else

It's 43 degrees here today. Blergh...

    Blossom

@Gagingi - really sorry to hear this. I thought this might have been the one for you. The good thing is you still have a frozen normal embie. I would probably do another stim cycle to try and get some more normals to bank.

Girls, I've kind of dropped the ball on keeping up with everyone, I'm so sorry.

I haven't read everything, but @Gagingi I see that you've had a BFN and I'm so sorry to hear about that. I know for myself having never gotten to EPU or had any transfers, that to get to that point of transferring a healthy embryo seems like it's a no brainer that it's going to work - but quite obviously it is still only a percentage that ever work and that is a total mind-f**k I have to say. I'm really glad that Wazza is doing great by you and that you've got a good plan to move forward with. But take it easy, it's a hard thing to deal with.

Same @Tahli and @Blossom74 I'm really happy that you've both got solid plans and are moving forward again. Action is healing and hope is the most powerful emotion we have on this journey - and no matter how many times it gets wiped out, that Warrior Goddess Hope just picks herself back up and rallies us to keep on going.

AFM things are going a bit pear shaped here. AF arrived and it is a good healthy flow which I am rapt about, so all good there. But the conversations with DH over IVF or DE have stalled. Even though he says he definitely wants more children, he really sees me losing the babies as my problem and he just isn't prepared to contribute financially to moving forward. Up until now I've managed to pay for everything myself to do with doctors, tests, meds, supps - to the point where I've maxxed out my credit card and have nothing left.

Over the past two years of grief I've lost my business and now have no income, so am relying fully on DH for everything. But he's made it really clear that he's not prepared to financially contribute, so now it's all up to me. So somehow I have to do whatever I can to try and resurrect my business and try to get some money together to do another cycle of IVF or go for DE. But I'll be doing it pretty much on my own and I'm really sad about that.

I'm glad you've got a new plan Tahl. I think a bit of a break whilst investigating further might be good, to reset a bit. it seems like you've been on edge back to back for a while now, so I hope you get a break soon
