@Precious40 good luck today! I'm sure you'll get a nice increase in numbers. Do they email the results again?? Hopefully they're on to it quick smart!
@Green lady hope you get to see lots of lovely follies at your scan today x
@JulieMallooley good luck with your apt with the Dr today. It definitely seems more real once you can feel them squirming around! I still have moments of disbelief though ☺️
@Blossom74 we travelled 2 hours to our FS, and I always found staying a night quite nice. No rushing or panicking about traffic making you late for the appointment. And when we stayed for ET we would go for a lovely dinner the night before, or DH would get something yummy to bring to the hotel after.
Has anyone heard from @faithandhopellove ? Hope everything's ok there.

@Charlie74 I had to have a little bit of a giggle at the brilliant Clexane advice you were given. My approach is more speedy and bruisey!
I ice my tummy with one of those kids characters ice gel packs for a few minutes ( while I'm preparing my Gestone injection) then I take the grey rubber stopper off the end of the needle, a drop or two of the solution will usually rise out of the needle, I just shake that off, then inset the needle with the hole side of the needle on the underside, quickly jab it in on an angle and super quickly press the plunger in less than 5 seconds. It's a tiny quick injection. That's most probably why I bruise. I'm too super speedy!!
If I'm out and about, such as in CT where there's a time difference, there's no icing it just gets darted in within the blink of an eye. It pretty much always stings afterwards.
I do Pred in the morning with food as it can make me feel sick otherwise. And as BiB mentioned it makes me feel shakey and scattered when going back on it again.
Clexane gets done at night with the majority of my other drugs. This is just b/c my son is in bed then. I don't want him seeing me inject. Good luck!
I got a lovely bunch of coconuts!
22 follies - 12 on one side , 10 on the other. Most a pretty consistent size, around 15 and 16mm, couple at 13, but FS seemed very happy with the overall consistent sizing. Trigger Wed night. Lining 7.7 which doesn't matter as such but I still like to know what it is in case I ever get the chance to do a transfer.
So, for the third time I have lots of good sized follies, but just need one of them to have a good egg in it. My FS said again, the only reason he thinks I should do this third cycle is because I get such good numbers for my age, otherwise he would have recommended I pull the pin.
@Precious40 - stalking for update on bt.
@Green lady I have coconut envy! Congrats!! Surely there has to be a good egg or two in amongst 22 follies.
@Charlie74 Interesting that you say that. When I had to do my injections without icing the area first I soon realised I'd become a bit dependent on the ice. It didn't actually hurt when I darted the needle in...just the stinging afterwards.
Holy guacamole, those are some amazing numbers hon. If I pulled a bag of follies out like that I'd probably pass out, along with my FS! My usual seems to be 2 to 3 so I've never had the excitement of being choccas with follies! That being said I do understand the challenge is to get them to fertilise so I'm crossing all my fingers for you
I don't reckon @Precious40 will have her results for a while yet. From memory she is in WA so we probably won't hear anything until late afternoon. GOOD LUCK @Precious40!
Hmmm, well if it weren't so bl@@dy expensive maybe we wouldn't be giving up so soon. I know myself if I had the cash I would keep doing IVF until I was 45 but as it is I am only 41 and we are on our last attempt. Seriously, when the Government is pushing for us to have more children, wouldn't you think they would provide better funding. I mean, Medicare rebates are great but we still spend SO MUCH MONEY trying to have babies.
