    been a bit busy today and over did it a bit. Had cramping this afternoon so took it easy in the arvo. Silly me. Can't sit still and relax

    @Precious40 @greenlady good luck today🙏
    @Charlie74 def take pred all at once in the morn as it def affects your sleep. I take clexane at night for no other reason than I have more time. It's not time sensitive so it can be at diff times of nite. The truck with clexane is:

    -flick the vial till the air bubble is at the top near the plunger
    -wipe off any drops off tip of needle
    -when you first put it in, if it stings pick another spot
    -depress plunger slowly
    -ice pack can help stingy afterwards

    I follow these tips and hardly get any bruises now. I used to bruise really badly from it (black and blue) but find it only happens now when I skip one of the above or rush it

    Yeah...I used to ice pack for a few minutes prior to injecting (as well as injecting on an angle too) then ice pack after if it was a bit stingy. Was really effective at minimising the bruising for me too

    Absolutely this !! As soon as I started doing this one thing, all bruising stopped. And if you do this, it doesn't usually sting afterwards either.

    Good thinking, keeping busy yesterday @Precious40 - best thing you could have done. Cramping is still a good sign as far as I'm concerned so I'm expecting good news from you today !
    Only 2 days @Bongley - how have you managed to not go insane ?!?! Not long now thankfully...
    First appt today for me at the hospital with a Dr. Not sure what its actually for, and I'm wondering why they didn't just organise it for after the 20 week scan in 1.5 weeks time.

    7.6mm and I was worried it wasn't over 8 but it seems that was fine.

    AFM, a quiet day working from home. And two weeks until I start cycling! Still have not heard back from the clinic re financial assistance but plenty of time for that I suppose.

    I've been starting to think of the logistics of it all. Last time I cycled I lived 2 hours from my clinic, and now I am four hours away. So, for example, I have to work on Tuesday 2nd which is a 3 hour drive from home. I can then drive on to my clinic for my scan the next day on the 3rd. If all goes well, I would presume I'd be going for EPU on Friday 5th as my clinic doesn't do transfers over a weekend. So do I get a motel for the Wed and Thursday night too? Otherwise I would have to drive home on Wednesday and drive 4 hours back again on Thursday - I like to spend the night prior to EPU in the same town as the clinic to eliminate the panic of the car breaking down etc.

    Then of course all being well I would have a fresh transfer on the Monday. Another overnight stay?

    So much to think about! Thank God I'm not planning a CT trip - it would all be too much!!!

    No, its still not feeling real to me. I still need to keep looking at myself side on in the mirror. I don't know if I'll believe it until I have two babies in this house. I keep expecting that something is going to go wrong. I'm desperate to start feeling them moving - I had that one little twitch on xmas night, and nothing since. THAT will make it feel a little more real.
