It was at the private clinic and that did include everything yes.

    Default IVF over 40#23

@Caesardust mine cost $490 in Brisbane. It took around 2.5 hours so not sure of the dose. That was done in private hospital and I had no cover.

Just checked the invoice and it says 20% 500ml so I assume there was 100ml of intralipids in there?

No that can't be right because the bag of saline was separate to the intralipids... I don't know what the 20% means...

And they recommended to do it every 2 weeks, first one on your bfp. I did it maybe every 2.5 weeks

@Corbes oooh, over to the dark side! Mind you I haven't technically lived in the inner west for a few years now, even though Newtown was a ten minute walk away. Eastern suburbs now

@winsor thanks! are you having one more shot too?
sorry for delayed reply. am home now with stable internet access & more time after the driving trip second part of holiday. back to work on monday. yes, one last shot with our frostie. it's been moved to RPA (prior to xmas) so hopefully in jan/feb. I need to work out the dates. it was nice to have a break from checking calendar days over the holidays

I'm days behind the posts, but read this morning's (long) email archive. regarding knowing when to stop, for us, the choice has been made for us with no more OE cycles due to reaching 45, and only having 1 frostie. DP doesn't want to do any donor cycles so this will be the last. we spent some time with my niece and had fun on the holidays and hopefully they're moving closer this year so we can spend more time with her. it's nice, I see my sister in her (how she looked when we were young) and even some glimpses of myself (we looked alike more back then). towards the end of last year I had to start thinking about what comes next. uni seems to be going ok so far, and the desperate urges I used to have (since around 38/39) seem to be waning. there's still moments. so I hope this one works, but I guess I know we'll be ok if it doesn't. I'm not sure if this is my hormones changing readying for the next phase of life - could be? or just all the meds wearing off and hormones resetting.

I feel like I want to throw as much as I can at this last det before I have the lap in April and look at other options. Could someone give me a rough estimate on cost, how often you have it and which days of the cycle and how long it takes. If it's better I ask on another thread I will do x
Just a lurker jumping in here.

NL is my FS and I paid $200 for intralipid, and supplied the intralipid myself (which is quite cheap). This was more than a year ago so it may have gone up. I'll find out when I resume it in a couple of weeks! I had it about a week before transfer, then on BFP and fortnightly after that up until 13 weeks I think.

They don't use the whole bottle of intralipid. I think it was like 150-200ml or so.

I don't think he will do intralipid for someone who is not his patient. I recall someone asking, but that was a long while back.

Thanks @MrsErinR for the info. I'm his patient but haven't had a cycle with him yet. I'm using my last two frosties with my other clinic before starting a new cycle with Monash March/April. I hope that means he'll do it. Where did you get the intralipids from??

He gave me a script and I was getting it at Slades in Richmond. I believe you can also get it at Monash and it's a bit cheaper there.

Have you had an endometrial biopsy for NK cells?
